There's still some alternative flavour to be squeezed from the Germans. Fallschirm-Panzerkorps (Field Blue uniforms!) or Panzer Elite in pseudo-Waffen SS form.

But please don't throw the Japanese or any North African forces into this already questionable mix. I don't want Super World War II All-Stars Reloaded, it's cringeworthy enough to endure the mixed front Allies.

At least go for European powers if something is added.

I'm really surprised (and somewhat angry) how the idea of sub-factions for OST/WEHR hasn't caught on yet. Like, holy fuck, the Japanese don't fit, Germany's continental allies didn't make any significant impact, and a 3rd German would be dumb.
Literally a perfect solution to all of the most common problems people have with X full faction proposal: a nationality based subfaction system for OST that replaces some base units with alternatives, switches mechanics up slightly or whatever.
Say, Grenadiers be replaced with Italian infantry and the P4 be replaced with their medium tank etc., or the Brummbar be replaced with similar Hungarian assault gun that comes out earlier, and so on.

If you want to talk about Japan I think you should link Omega's Japan faction ideas.

https://www.coh2.org/topic/17208/omega-s-japanese-faction

Really well thought out and developed faction ideas.

I would love to have a third German army, although I wouldn't mind having an Italian faction.

I would like very much to established Japanese faction as the 3rd Axis faction because in the Japanese faction were all types of infantry forces aviation, artillery or armored

Africa corps, great early game, no late game heavy tanks, but we'll equipped military, and equipment such as the flak 88. I would say with a feel of the luffaffa doc from coh1

I want Afrika Korps in my life very badly. The Pacific Theatre seems too far removed to be implemented in CoH currently - the US Forces would have to be reworked (or have a second US faction for the Pacific) seeing as how the US Army wasn't very involved in the Pacific Theatre. It was mainly marines with very different compositions of weaponry.

Afrika Korps with some supplemental Italian units would be perfect.

Beyond that, Africa provides an entire expansion opportunity for Relic - both singleplayer and multiplayer. The Afrika Korps can be the new faction, with either a British or AK North African SP campaign. Maybe a British African commander.

Desert maps would be really fun and quite different. Many of the established systems would transfer over really well into a desert setting. Deep sand instead of deep snow or mud, sandstorms instead of blizzards, heat exhaustion instead of freezing troops.

The Afrika Korps would be perfect as a highly mobile, midgame focused army. The late game units can be a Tiger and Flak 88, with strong, mobile infantry filling out the midgame with light and medium vehicles abound.

Please give us Afrika Corps!!!! It would be cool to have a 3rd camo slot too for desert maps :DD
