Is this a balance thread, or someone asking for help? Either way, it doesn't belong here.

You have to tech up and spend mp to get them don't you? As with the other engineer units, you get one for free right off the bat (which would give a small justification for them to have a bit of a higher dps).

There's one thing remotely fair about RoyEs, and that's the fact they aren't T0.

Is the preview 100% confirmed to go life as it is? :snfQuinn:

Plus, the relation between PGs and penals is exactly the same as between rifles and SPs.
Rifles cost less, yet they often win, unless SPs jump them from behind los blocker.

Lets also ignore the "adaptable inf in multirole tier vs AI specialist in AI specialist tier" thing as well :snfPeter:

I hope most of goes life. :luvDerp:

I thought non-upgraded PGs were elite anti-infantry units, just like penals :megusta:

Me too :foreveralone:

Possible shrecks provide too much utility :megusta:
Outcome still purely depends on the distance they start engagement.

If its on far, on the open, don't expect much from PGs.

Aaaand now I'll just cut it, because it kind of side-tracked from the T1 more expensive unit>T0 cheaper, starter unit being OP thing :romeoHairDay:

Well, we are on the same side here.

Tho I'd add Royal engies are cost effective, not OP :luvCarrot:

T1 units are stronger then T0 units.
...

That is not very accurate...currently in live Grenadiers(T1) loses to riflemen(T0) and to I.S.(T0)
Penals (T1) lose to SP(T0). Tier is one factor, cost is another.

Maybe they are a little bit strong. Their vet3 50% cheaper reinforce is the biggest problem IMO

-I think i've reported several months ago the bug with the flamethrower. (Lazy to look for it atm)

-Reinforcement cost reduction at vet3 IS OP.

OP: while the subject is valid, next time try to raise the quality of the opening post.

the sapper's cost effectiveness is definitely higher than that of the pioneer and rear echelon, but it's still not strong enough to make the british faction themselves overpowered.

Why do good balance suggestions have such little support and the bad balance suggestions get a wall of text in their OP?
