I play all factions ;).

Volks shrecks is not fun and now OPW with ST shrecks, volks faust/stg, rakt buffed will be not fun again.

Relic needs to do something about OPW.

Double Sturmpio with 1 Schreck each is insane. They vet up fast. Repair everything in no time and benefit from their vet4 and vet5 much faster which makes even Obersoldaten get jealous about those vet bonuses.

Everybody complained that Volks blob is too strong. Now Relic changed that and same people are still whining. Unbelievable.

SP's high mp cost and maintenance(in here I mean reinforcement cost) means it would be hard to blob up like what we can do on volks now. The SP with schreck is also squishy and inaccurate, due to its initial stats, its low health and 4 man squad size means it has greater probability to get wiped in late game by arty. The occupied slots to replace STG with schreck also decreased its AI ability to 75% of original, each member killed would further decrease 25%. This means it would be useless when used in sole side harassment or using as shock infantry vsing a logical and skilled player.On the top of that with the 90 munition cost for the package, okw would really lacking munition to choose between upgrading volks or SP.

Even though all of those (Volks, sturms, rekketen) are from T1, remember that you still need to set up the truck to unlock the upgrades, which is about the same mp and fuel of wehr T2, but with more munition needed. There wasn't problem vsing combination of LMG grens, Panzerschreck Pgrens and Pak, there won't be problem of vsing stg volks, Panzerschreck sturms and rekketen, not to even mention about the inferior attribute of okw version.

So you need a 3rd pio to have a minesweeper ? 3 Sturmpios is a hell lot of pop cap, MP, and reinforce corst

Sturmpios have less men, cost more, take more pop, and have no access to grenades.

Sure, if we do this, the volk faust has to go, and hopefully the sturmpio minesweepers are mutually exclusive. but still, having it on the more expensive squad is much better than the cheap, mainline infantry with an inced grenade.

Maybe the upgrade could replace one of the other MP44s with a pistol to lower the DPS abit more if the QQ is truly real...

But Cons really need more stuff now that all the other factions have upgrades for it, maybe make the PPSH upgrade non-doctrinal and replace the doctrinal one with a DP upgrade?

can we increase the repair speed for mechanized hq since sturms will be less available for repairing since they will be more engaged in combat

Panzerschreck and Minesweeper can be equipped simutaneously. The reinforce cost isn't that high compared to Shocks or Panzergrenadiers.

That's fine-ish. There's no reason for an army to have a cheap, auto-pen faust and shreks. One or the other certainly.

As far as the actual combat abilities of the Sturms go I would have to think that they aren't going to be super-blobby. If you spam them you're going to be trading in-efficiently since they're sort of squishy, if you blob them they have no way to cover themselves/break the suppression.

Early game they're pretty vulnerable to snipers.


As far as penals go : didn't we just have this problem with rifles? The idea that they are good at all ranges and the flame thrower now makes it impossible to take cover against them

Also, how the they just triple nerf maxim because of spam.. Then give OKW an even CHEAPER MG. cheaper than the maxim pre-nerf.

They have an AT gun (cheapest in game), MG (cheapest in game), snare(no tech cost), anti garrison (free), Shreks(no tech cost), mainline infantry (2nd cheapest), and engineers... ALL WITHOUT HAVING TO MAKE CHOICES.

they don't have to research anything.

They don't have to choose between buildings.

They get everything handed to them for free... It's a fucking joke.

My complaint with volks schrecks has always been that's it's been the insanely easy route to vet 5.

AT weapons need to provide like, 10% of the xp to infantry.

Putting them on Sturms is, well, kind of okay. I guess it splits their utility, but the problem is with repairing units is that they're combat weak but need to be towards the front when you need them. This is not much of an issue for Sturms.

And Penal Battalions have been a poorly thought out and designed unit, much like Soviet T1/T2 from the beginning, or at least since Penals ceased to be 360mp.

So basically:
-Volks are 5 man grens with faust
-Sturms are PGrens that can repair
-MG from HQ
-Drawbacks of the raketen reduced, making it more like other at guns

OKW was fine without the schreck. Compare them to Ostheer, they get the puma stock and an AT gun without teching up, and all their great armor. They don't need the schreck on sturms.

If the panzerschreck wasn't going to be on volks, it needed to be on Obers.

Although with all the combined manpower sinks that OKW has it might work out by manufacturing manpower bleed.

But if we're balancing the game around A-moving units with schrecks/zooks then I don't expect anything dynamic out of gameplay.

I would like to see the jp4 in the medictruck again, instead of schrecks on the sturmpioniere. It´s just weird to have a unit that has to do so many tasks...

4 man gren vet 3 can easily duel a 5 vet volks
pgrens are much better than sturms in damage and have better armor and have dual shrecks
not mg42 though
its just 10 more arc its still squishy and can easily be decrewed due to no green cover still less range than other at guns and have some problem setting up maybe due to animaition
