All players should sub to the preview mod?

I'm really tired of constantly asking people to subscribe to a mod that Relic themselves have made, and they either remain clueless or don't respond.
Should it be "mandatory" to have this and future preview mods?

Basically, everyone subscribes to it so when they join lobbies that are hosting the game, they won't have to download them or otherwise cause issues trying to start the match.

There should be a more obvious button on the main menu that letting players, especially those who don't particularly in the official forum or coh2 community, to know that there is such preview mode.

and maybe a more dedicated and official review drop box on somewhere.

or an automatch for preview purposes. no need for mods, force the dl on everyone but to play the existing automatch or the preview automatch is up to the individual.

problem with game lobby is that skill levels are never balanced.

It looks like the War Spoils open beta uses the Preview Mod changes, when I played it Volks can only upgrade to StGs, for instance.

This means that if you play in automatch in the beta you will have the changes in those matches.

if by mandatory you mean some kind of "Force Download" or "Force Subscribe", I would say yes.

Yep, the idea is that when Relic releases Preview Mods, all players automatically subscribe and download it. Anyone who wishes for some reason not to have it can always just unsub and/or delete it upon release.

just add a search function to automatch 'preview patch' etc.

Obviously the preview mod games would not count towards ladder ranking etc and would be custom games in all but search function.

aerafield: @LimaOscarMike I would say nowadays is a decent time to try CoH3. If you loved CoH2 however, there is a solid chance you're gonna dislike CoH3

Rosbone: But I agree, the cost to get a full decent Coh game pushing $115 US is not the best idea. Especially when it needs so much more work for casuals.
