Good rejected things in CoH 2

+1 It would be nice to have all these as options in the graphics settings.

I remember in the concept art there were a lot more customization options. Things like adding decorations to your trenches and things like this.
Also lets not forget all the women partisans and voices they took out for reasons.

don't know why they removed partisans yet kept female snipers, tank and aircraft crews.

I believe they took out female partisans because when they recrewed things they didn't have any female voices, so it would be male MG team voices.

Was towing ever in to begin with?I think I remember an interview, where they talked about having trouble getting the towing to work properly with the vehicle pathfinding,so they had to cut it.

There was also the bug where the female models would use the default male skeletons for weapon animations, which caused they're eyes to pop out of there heads. Cuddletron still uses a picture of it for his avatar.

Ahhh, that would make sense.
Wish other factions had different voices too. Disappointed only SU have em.

Likely not, this is early alpha stuff.
If something is scrapped there, its scrapped for good, because for one reason or another, it have proven to not be optimal for the game.
But modders can shine if they want.

As you can see, Relic rejected from discloured and damage avatars since WFA, but don't update the design of original faction.

In the CoH2 Alpha, Soviets had another form of barbed wire which was placed similar to the
Ostheer's Schützenmines. Enemy units could pass the wire but they had to crawl under it just
like being suppressed under MG fire.

BannedFor a short time during WFA alpha, you could have your infantry ride on T-34s. The animation was never completed though.

It fucked up pathfinding and could be really abused when placed in retreat paths.
It's unlikely they bring it back. We all know relics pathing nightmares.
