Question is are u talking about 1v1,2v2 or 3v3+
2v2 some maps force blobbing, because of the nature of map. 1 side blobs, you have to someway blob back, but usually best choice is using tactics against him when he is just moving all his forces in one unit.
But usually blobber versus one who know what he is doing will bleed manpower much better ratio on the blobber.

OP is right. The game is not fun at all. It's blobbing and cheese tactics. You beat a player using tactics, then they start blobbing. I see it in virtually every game
I mean how dare they actually try to win with numbers instead of quality of units or tactics. They should keep doing the same shit that you were beating them with.
If they are blobbing, there are definitely counters with all factions against this.

The game is all about blobbing , blobbing, blobbing ... No strategy, no tactics, just blobbing. Who has the strongest blob wins. Who retreats his blob more rapidly takes the match. No flanking, no mines, no nothing...just attack in the middle of the map with all ur army (volks+shreks, infantry+piat, riflemen+zookas, pzgrens+shrek). Relic, are u happy? Only 1v1 are a little bit more realistic...but even there we have a blobber in the top (HOI.Paula)...So, Relic, is this a strategy game or just a fcking blob contest ? Make something because this is very very sad... There is no more pleasure to play this game...honestly.

If the AoE would be bigger but dmg lower we could reliably hit blobs without it being rng dependant.

The soviet at gun's barrage ability especially needs adjustments. Soviet players rightfully complain that it's too inaccurate, but when it does hit an axis squad it usually whipes it.
Can't count the times when i've had full health squads whiped in a single shot.
