Looking at the figures at the moment how is dow 2 (who only have 450 playing 1,100 with the retribution dlc) drawing with total war at 53%, while coh 2 who only have 35% and have 4,500 people playing?

Also just this:http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=622718569

Is this fixed or something or am i just looking at it wrong?

It is really bad that one is using cheats and mods to get the results rigged in favour of this event. I hope Relic sees this.

Cheating for "free" DLC that should be free anyway in total wars case. DOW II, what are they going to get from this event?

MWNL isn't working on the basis of wins this time AFAIK.

It says the percentage is based on the number of additional players recruited to the cause, which I think means the number of additional players playing the game with reference to how many players play that game 'usually'. So for example, if 5000 players play COH2 usually, and during the event 7000 players are playing, COH2's percentage would be 40%.

This puts DoW in the biggest advantage imo, since it's very old and not many people play it. So let's say, only 1000 people play DoW regularly, but during the event 1500 play, DoW's percentage is 50%.

Anyway, this is my interpretation of the line

(*)% of additional player recruited to the cause, above and beyond the standard ranks

and I could be wrong.

People should really READ THE RULES before making assumptions.

Given the player population differences, DoW community could actually win this effortlessly.

Then let DOW2 win this. Coh2 won the last two events. Wouldn´t mean the world to me and letting our DOW2 Brothers and Sisters win is fine with me too. DOW2 is at least a relic game.

Well, its actually 8 euro difference for us :sibPheasant:
Or at least for people who play brits.
Streamers probably would want these too, but they contribute more then enough.

No free Cancer Commander for the community. It´s almost sad.

Honestly: I think if a lot of people got that guy for free, the game would turn out to be so frustrating (as everyone would be using him) that it would eventually hurt the game.

If it's relative increase, then it's obviously biased towards smaller communities. Wouldn't it be fair if only absolute increase would count? The actual increase on top of the "usual" number of players.

Like Khan pointed out, COH2 would need an additional 2500 players to get 50% (assuming regular player base is 5000), while for DoWII having that percentage increase only takes 1/5 of that (500 players vs regular player base of 1000)

So in short - this event is not for CoH2 players :luvDerp: . Kyle is greater troll than Barton :D.

They should have released a patch before the event, doesn't it usually spike playercount more?

If you refresh the main website multipe times, sometimes you can see other numbers like 81 65 76, but always coh 2 is the less. A bit suspicious to be honest.
