Land Matress Commander

Kyle just announced this new commander:

I fear this will be OP as hell! I know I couldn't be any faster with this but I am really concearned. I mean this commander has everything: Commandos deployable from any building, arty (doesn't matter how accurate it is), flamers and the overkill MORE COVER BONUSES!

I would argue Axis infantry won't stand a chance in the future. This would be an OK commander if the changes to the AEC were reverted but thats not gonna happen i guess...

What are your thoughts on this?

If something is low CP, its usually low performance too.

Land Matress will probably end up being immobile, fragile as F katy. Because you know, it DOES matter how accurate the arty is. Or are 25 pounders considered best thing in game by you, because they aren't doctrinal?

Commander not even out yet and it's OP. Seems legit.

Still worse than the croc commanders for 1v1. Still worse than arty cover for team games, until arty cover receives its well deserved nerf.

The cover thing is cool, the commandos are cool, flamers are nice on the right maps but the land mattress seems meh. (Unless it has received an overhaul)

advanced cover combat?

I see this quickly being nerfed to 'for the motherland' levels of uselessness.

I said I fear it will be OP. There is a difference to actually saying it is OP.
Considering the recent introductions of new commanders I would say this is a valid fear. Of course it will be a cool commander but I doubt it will fit in the current form of the game. The cover bonuses wil destroy OST playstyle. Combined with commandos appearing behind your frontline OST will be forced to fully retreat and won't be able to get back into the game...

Don't cry op till it's out. Looks like a strong early commander that means you choose it right from the start. We also haven't seen the patchnotes that could change how Brita play.

Cool ideas though, was just complaining Brita have no solid anti building. The arty should be ex to counter as its basically non movable or moves as fast as an at/pak howy gun.
Commandos are fine as they do about as much as falls and probe less as they have to close the distance. Probe very expensive but I think they just require you to know how the commander works such as one with falls. Mines in doorways will be your friend and I'm sure they won't be cheap either.

All in all I think it looks like a fun commander that helps fill the caps in their tech much like calliop commander fills in usf tech.

Typed on phone so ignore poor spelling lol

It's an active ability that you pay muni for. Like for the motherland, valiant assault, etc.

but still buff sexton and 25pdr pls k thx.

I'm hoping that, once they release the land mattress they will blanket nerf all rocket artillery to katyusha levels of balance.
