A New Commander Idea for Wehrmacht & Panzerwerfer Nerf

Yes I know that the Wehrmacht has way too many commanders, but I'm suggesting a commander that actually sticks to their meaning, unlike most of their commanders. I am proposing a Wehrmacht Ostheer Terror Doctrine. With the addition of this doctrine the Panzerwerfer would be nerfed (It was an inevitable patch ever since the summer),and to help with that this doctrine will give a more reliable early game blob counter that may not kill, but still repels. The doctrine will include the following abilities:

0 Cp Assault Grenadiers
1 Cp - Artillery Field Officer
3 Cp - Propaganda War (Coh1 version)
3 Cp - Hotchkiss
3 Cp - Panzer III Light Tank
7 Cp - Command Panzer 4
9 Cp - Flak 88 AAA
12 Cp - Railway Artillery
13 Cp - Tiger Tank

The Purpose of this doctrine will be to:
A. Counter Blobs without wiping them out, making not only a decent early counter to blobs, but also not rendering the USF weak and fragile.
B. Giving the Axis a reliable early game tactic.
C. Tiger Tank + Panzer 4 Command = lol

Now, please throw all of your hatred at me, and then I can adjust this commander idea to both my, and your liking. If this were to be added, I would want the Panzerwerfer's damage, and rate of fire nerfed.

The Costs of the new abilities will be as followed:
Propaganda War: 80 Munitions.
Panzer III Light Tank: 290 Manpower, 75 fuel.
Flak 88 AAA: 500 Manpower, 30 fuel.


Note: I posted this in both the gameplay section, and the balance section, because in my opinion, it involves both.


Note #2: With the edit I added the Flak 88, Assault Grenadiers, and the Panzer III; While removing the Artillery Field Officer, command panzer 4, and the railway artillery by request :D.

It looks like a useful commander. But not original at all. 80% of it is just abilities recycled from other commanders.

You could just do with the Leichte Mechanized and a few tellers to work your way towards the Panzer 4 and Tiger. Noone would ever tech up if this doctrine became available. Maybe a both HE and AP equipped Flak 88 emplacement instead of the Panzer4 and a Fallschirmjägerish Elite Infantry, just like Knight's Cross Holders instead of Tiger would be better. 500 MP 5 guys equipped with their unique StG44s and deployed into the lines so eagerly that they automatically run first 10 seconds after deployed. They have access to Stun Nade, Smoke Nade and can focus fire.

I'd rather see something unique instead of just shuffling old abilities. Also, where is the Hotchkiss in this commander?

I don't mind shuffling old abilities, there are some I really wish I could have together (propaganda+34/85)[dont judge me plz]

So I get why OP might want that.

That's not a bad thing IMO, as I think that mostly the "new" stuff is what makes the game more unbalanced.
I am a fan of the "classical" CoH2 commanders, like Spearhead Doctrine or Panzerjäger (Elefant).

On the other hand I think it'sa bait for Relic to make dlc commander with Commands Pz4 + Tiger and after 2 months remove commandz pz4 for mechanized grens group :sibHyena:

1 CP: Random call-in
3 CP: Random call-in
5 CP: Random call-in
10 CP: Random call-in
15 CP: Random call-in


at each of this abilities you will be able to call-in any unit of the wehrmacht arsenal for a random price

The Flak 88 and Propaganda war can probably be built off of the old vCoh textures. The only thing that will probably need to be completely built from scratch would be the hotchkiss.

Side Note: I also added the costs for the new ability/call in units.

Yea I know, but the panzerwerfer will still get it's inevitable damage/rate of fire nerf anyways. With this, it gives another option (to those who receive the commander) for early game.
