its not fair that the ESL cup gives EU players a double chance to compete for prizes. NA players cant play the EU cup because of time difference. also this makes the NA cup extremely competitive... good luck getting in the top 8!http://www.coh2.org/topic/create/cat_id/1#

Probably an issue you should take up with ESL. There is nothing about playing in both regions in the ESL rules so currently it still stands.

Moved to COH2 Balance subforum.

Oh wait, moved to Scrap Yard.

Oh wait, I am not moderator.

What about going to bed earlier the day before and wake up early today? Cafe? Cocaine? Redbull? Really.

Organizing and participating in a tourny can already be a nightmare schedule wise. Throw in the time zones and it gets pretty inconvenient.

Guess what the NA cup timezone is problematic for europeans just like the EU cup timezone is problematic for Americans. I don't wanna question your intelligence but this should be easy to understand.

I could challenge your intelligence...

NA cup starts at 2pm Eastern which is 8pm-9pm for most of Europe. By that time, 6-7 hours have passed for the EU edition which probably reached its semifinals by then. Anyone not in top 4 in Europe can go ahead and play in the NA cup.

Since these are mostly students and young professionals, I don't see the problem in staying "late" until 1 or 2am to win the NA edition

Surely the cream of NA can deal with a bunch of people who got eliminated early in EU?

Other e-sports allow anyone to play in the regional tournaments. It'd go over really bad if this one restricted the NA cup to Americans and Canadians. Also, I live on the Pacific coast and am normally up in time to play in the EU cup (if I thought there was a point in doing so).
