"Our Riflemen now have access to flamethrowers, to smoke out the enemy". Said at the start, when this Commander is selected.

Well, actually, no. They no longer have this ability, which has been reassigned to the REs. The ingame speech should be adjusted, to avoid confusing new players.

Rifle Company has (PASSIVE) pretext forced into the ability description, so it's visible in lobby etc.

Great... now we will finally get to hear a thrilling "ability ready" instead, I guess.

btw, I am pretty sure the Sturmtiger call in still uses that generic "Combat unit ready" line, even though it definitley has a fitting line when hitting the field (from the time when it used to be built from flak truck)!

Also, the description of the commander abilities on the Steam shop is inaccurate.
It still states that the commander includes 'Elite Riflemen Training'.

The same with the 'Elite Troops Doctrine' commander. It still has 'Troop Training' listed as one of the commander's abilities.

Actually the line said when a Sturmtiger was called in from the Flak Truck was actually referred to a StuG III, which was possibly cut at some point. The Announcer would call it a "Sturmgeschutz" or "Stug drei" (English: Stug three) when the Sturmtiger arrived, although sometimes he just said "Assault Gun" which is accurate to both vehicles.

Well to fix that, we should change RE Flamethrowers to instead be calling in a special Rifleman squad that upgrades to a flamethrower while lacking smoke, AT grenades, and having different vet with a more aggressive intent to it (Ugggh, it's just so boring now. Same ability for an OKW commander, which is still more interesting in practice since SPs are close to an actual combat unit without the flamethrower when REs with flamethrowers are just the same as EF engineer flamethrowers).

Agreed, same for Veteran Riflemen. They'll be to Riflemen as Obersoldaten are to Grenadiers.

While that is a good idea and original one, it also might as well be Assault Engineers, though.

I actually wonder why it still is named Rifle Company, as rifles now only get flares and a shit sprint.

They should consider renaming it to 'Decent Medium Tank Company'.

Honestly, I'd still prefer that. A combat unit with mines, demos and repair criticals in addition to the flamethrower is still more interesting than yet another weak engineer+flamethrower.

This still applies to REs, they are men with rifles ^_^. Please don't change it to the generic "ability is ready" voiceline, I don't think anyone actually cares.

Personally I wish they make a special "close quarter" squad with flame throwers and shotguns like how the marines cleared out the japs in the Pacific.
