Bought vet was removed for a reason, etc etc.
Any ability in the game that rewards you with vet (something every unit needs to FIGHT for) is a bad ability. Reward those who keep vetted squads alive, punish those who don't/
Return Rifle Company vet call in with fuel cost?

They could make a call-in unit of "Veterans" in the same vein as Obersoldaten, equipped with higher damage M1 Garands, the Paratooper Frag, AT Rifle Grenade, and Smoke Grenades.
Rangers are the Veterans
They just dont have those abilities

Yeah, it's pretty conspicuous in AA where the description's the same, but their small arms can only automatically be Thompsons.
