In late game SU suffers from being unable to mass its tanks. T-34 needs to cost less manpower if its going to be garbage.

You can't mass it anyway without killing off your infantry because of how high the pop costs were changed to be in CoH2.

Yes. You just have to do a bit more flanking with the t3476.

Unfortunately, any other medium tank copes with this task much better.

Which is fine because losing one hurts a lot less.

Sorry, but I do not think that the loss unit for 300 mp (and 80 fuel) is easy loss. Especially considering need build three of the four you most expensive tier buildings. It's just not worth it.
T34 is really good vs USF

:foreveralone: I remember the first Pershing demonstration from twitch, where he heroically fought with conscripts.

Problem is, you don't have them as Soviet :megusta:, except for T-34/85 which is a doctrine unit.

You have to build all those tiers anyways.

Funny thing is, T34/76 sucks vs T34/76 on long range :foreveralone:

Why? As Soviet you have call-in.

Сall-in. They can replace T4 in one degree or another.

Of course, no need for T-34/76 if you have T-34/85, IS-2, KV-8, Guards, Shocks etc etc.

But sometimes I just want to play Commanders without call-in :snfCHVGame:.

one of lelic devs let out that their time is the priority for them. Not the gameplay with equal oportunities for both sides.

Changes are expected only if they benefit lelic staff diectly and immidealtely. So they wont fix even the most obnoxious BS in the game for free.
Useless unit in T4? Their asses laughs at that. Logicaly

it need mapower cost decrease. everytime i want to build them i dont have manpower becuase i need to spend 375 mp for heal and at nades (how without them you can counter anything hevier than 222)
another 640 mp for teching from tier 0 to tier 4 and then 310 mp for every t 34/76.

If it cost 200-250 mp and 80 fuel it will be used

Yea, I find it really funny that as SU or USF I need to think which doctrine I need and the choice is crucial, while as OKW I foten forget about doctrines since I don't need that much but I realize I did not pick any it's more like "I don't need this, I don't need this, I don't need this" opoosite to OST and Allies "I need this" :snfPeter:

Out of interest, I remember someone saying that the t34/85 bulitins dont stack. Im not sure of thats true or false since their armor isnt great (lower than a panzer 4 without skirts even with full stack bulitins).

Anyway, the fuel price is fine but I have to agree that 300mp for such a woeful unit is too much. 270mp and prehaps a small reload buff would be the way to go (again, higher than a panthers rof).

I also wouldn't mind their armor being buffed a bit or even just upgrade them with skirts as I have said befor.

Something has to be done for this unit.

t34/85 needs to be baseline if soviet t4 is going to be as shitty and overpriced as it is

I agree that t-34/76 should have decreased mp cost. Right now it has the biggest mp/fuel ratio of 3.75. Compared to p4, p5, su-85 and t-34/85 that all float around 2.8-2.9. So t-34/76 should be roughly 230 mp to match with the other tanks. Btw same problem with su-76 which has mp/fuel ratio of 3.73.

This is what gets me about OPKW. The faction has everything under the sun. Their lineup is just filthy and they are potent at all stages of the game.

Early game? By far the most powerful starting unit. Followed by cheap, numerous infantry that gets free flame nades to force superior enemy infantry out of cover in any engagement. And of course, Shreks w/ no side tech required. Only faction w/ a T0 super light vehicle that costs no fuel and can capture territory and cutoffs. T0 AT Gun as well for some reason.

Then you have the Luchs and/or Flak Halftrack. Good light vehicles. Stuart or T-70 or AEC countering your Luchs? OKW has non-doc Puma.

LeiG and Walking Stuka very powerful indirect. Stuka only rivaled by Panzerwerfer.

Best non-doctrinal infantry? Obers.

Best non-doctrinal medium? OKW Panzer IV.

Best non-doctrinal TD? OKW Panther (and they they get the comically redundant Jagdpanzer).

Best heavy tank w/ the potential to turn a game around besides Ace? OKW King Tiger.

So instead of giving them reasonable call ins like idk, Obers, a regular Panther or a King Tiger, they already have them so they get souped up Command Panthers and utterly unnecessary JagdTigers or SturmTigers or Falls that can jump out of a building anywhere in the map.

The only thing OKW lacks is a good MG. That's it. But I'd be happy to trade the .50 cal if USF got a non-doctrinal Pershing or Calliope.

Edit: rant over and on topic, I agree the T-34/76 is useless.

This is so because OKW is balanced at the moment :brad:

reducing rear armour of heavy tanks will go a long way.

i would prefer its current price, increased AOE for AI and with 100% pen on rear hits, it can actually threaten and destroy heavies with a good flank.

If you nerf the rear armor too much you might see some BS kills, since i have managed to hit a enemy tank in its rear armor by firing at its frontal armor with a 45mm AT gun from max range (the shot landed under the tank and resulted with a rear armor hit)
