Brits - What to do against assgren opening

Hey guys,

I'm not the worst when it comes down to brit vs ostheer (1v1), but I seem to struggle against an aggressive assgren start. I went against an opponent who's build was the following;

Assgren
Assgren
MG42
Assgren
Scoutcar

Can someone elaborate?

Vickers + IS in cover.

My build would prob look like this:

IS
Vickers
IS
UC (upgrade wasp) it will have wonderfull time without fausts
Sapper + AT gun and / or sniper (vs Scoutcar)

Commandos (since they prob can take on 2 Assgrens in close range)

I might also get fancy with Bofors emplacements since he cant do shit vs them with that commander if you protect it well

the key is the vickers,the werhmacht player will try to corner you and stop you from taking ground but in order to do that they need to come close to you,use the vickers with a section and you can push them back and punish them while doing so,ofc you can also go UC and annoy them since they wont have faust(if they do they wont have enough troops anyways so win win for you).

after that sappers or commandos do short work of them and then you need a fast tank or an AT gun or PIATS for the stug callin or the panzer 4.

in the sense of super MG micro and IS taking cover like DevM and Aimstrong

IS in cover, a 2nd Vickers if things get out of hand, perhaps an MG UC (I prefer it to the Wasp) but you risk it being annihilated by the 222 so be careful. Don't be afraid to extend T1 a bit.

Research Weapon Racks and get brens out

or get squad sizes and 2 engineer squads

Watch out for a FHT.
