What are your guys' thoughts on the KV-2?

Its range is a little pitiful (40) and its pen is alright considering its damage (average pen 180), maybe can have a little more. Its armor is not tough that makes it quite vulnerable when in siege mode.
In short, really just need a little more love. The KV 2 deals 240 damage and yes, does have very bad accuracy as well as comes out at 14cp for some reason.

Over 11 sec reload with no bonuses for vetting.
Cannto hit a shit. Just put it in front of a tank and watch how shells are hiiting ground in front and next to target.
14CP is just a joke when it's worse than other heavies.
Whole doctrine has nothing special to offer.
Repair station and crew repairs? huh? Why would I want 2 abilities to repairs for ammo?
+ supply drop which is good, but combined with 2 others ammo abilities means you cannot use them, unless you don't want mines, molos or at nades.
I can imagine KV2 being very good in many other, already existing doctrines, for example put it in defensive doctrine in exchange for M-42.

Better then before but still need some tweaks to be comparable to IS-2 or ISU in efficency.

I can imagine KV2 being very good in many other, already existing doctrines, for example put it in defensive doctrine in exchange for M-42.
Or fast conscription. SU have lot usуless crap.

The KV2 is amazing to lock down territory. Its great vs vet5 volk blob en KT spam meta. 240 damage and a lot of penatration. Only real counter to it is JT (wich they got, but was to late, and under constant pressure). We had 2 KV2's in siege mode at the top/ mid VP's supported with Kat and Jacksons.
Another thing to do is build the repair stations behind the KV2 in siege mode >unkillable. Its like hullingdown KT with mech building behind it

We tested it yesterday in 4v4 (on steppes) 2 Soviet industry 1 USF 1 Brit. vs 3 OKW 1 Ostheer. Was fun game that was really close (allies win).
The KV2 is amazing to lock down territory. Its great vs vet5 volk blob en KT spam meta. 240 damage and a lot of penatration. What? CAS/Luftwaffe and goodbay KV-2. Or any other powerful off map with flares or recon for sight.
Penetration is really, really shitty - 160 on max range - but that's fine since it does not have different shells.

Nah, they used CAS (from lighting war) had vet5 stuka. Used the new OKW commander arty. But we had vet3 Quads, vet3 CalliOP. Everything can be countered. Dont forget it has over 1000hp now.

In a 1vs1 its very situational but when the map and time has come it can easily turn the side or grant victory,especially close to the enemy base sector.

That doesnt matter.Why? Because its incredibly strong against inf and tanks.Looking in a vacuum where KV-2 doesnt properly get supportet by at least 1 scout unit and some AT weapons behind to protect from ballsy tank hunters is not really a good evidence.
It has some RNG flavour but nonetheless a bit micro input and it will deal a lot more consistent dmg even against moving targets.

Update your game, you're about 20 months of patches late.
Its scatter is HUGE, it hardly wipes anything at the moment regardless of mode.
