Yea I used to play it a lot too. Yea it was balanced but then again it was more symmetrical, and less complex. But the graphics for it being an 07' game was a 10/10.

The explosions were 20/10

Relic should make a simple hotfix for pop changes. I really hope we don't have to wait for a "january patch" to fix obvious pop issues.

Don't worry mate Christmas sales coming soon you can buy a different game to play till the new patch hits OR just play Wehrmacht so every match will be balanced

Yes, old pop caps need to be reverted back.

New pop caps fix call in bugs but mess the game balance which is more important.

+1 This is one of the classic Relic 1 step forward 2 step back moves with the patch.

Some of the popcap changes are insane. If I recall that also inflicts manpower bleed. So factions that had more units are punished even harder. I haven't played USF in a while but I can imagine how much it hidden hurts them.

I would like to see a revamp to the costs of unit pop and what might help relic out is increasing the pool size. If the pop total was 200 instead of 100 you would more easily factor in slight variances to whole number.

If before it was something worth 1.4pop this would effectively be a 3 pop unit. Nothing changes but would give them more flexibility in differentiating the value of different squads and remove the pop cap issue of not having whole values.

WIC was just visually appealing. Almost everything was symmetrical.

Those low pop cap were not intended:

Relik dev: "ALL POP CAP WAS ROUNDED UP IT IS LISTED UNDER BUGFIXES BECAUSE USING DECIMAL POINTS IN POPULATION LED TO A LOT OF THOSE CALL IN BUGS"

Still, Volks are currently massively under what would be considered as a balanced value for their population requirement. It should be closer to 10 than to 5 or 6.

No, that means it was intended. It's just not balanced and causing new problems.

Finally an OKW player with a brain, not zealously defending the glory of the reich.
o7.

More specific, because most brains are allied favoured.

Population of Many units were changed. And this is totally insane patch! Most of all, they patch it without conmment. in 2vs2, OKW's win ratio is 85% and UKF's win ratio is 25%! Is it RTS? We should boycott Company of Heroes 2. I won't play COH 2 until new patch. Please, take part in this boycott. Your help will move relic's ass.

(Moderator Input) Calling for people to engage in boycott and unsportsmanlike behaviour as a mean of quiet protest is not acceptable in this community. It will achieve nothing good, and it will mostly disrupt the game flow and enjoyment for people who want to enjoy Company of Heroes.

If you do not enjoy the current game state, either pop to the Relic forums (currently on Steam) to discuss means to improve it, or simply do not play it. Closing this thread.
