and their 360 Degree perfect vision.

for realism, shouldn't soviet tanks have to "turn out" to see in combat and risk being de-crewed by small arms fire?

Honestly I think that would be an good idea if most AFV would have more vision. This would force combined arms play.

Goliaths imo should have a small field of vision like 5 ingame.

Allied fanboy: Since allies don't have it, axis shouldn't either, remove it from the game and give them flare mines instead.

Axis fanboy: Costs 10 more then a demo charge, therefore it should have blitz, be reusable and have 425 frontal armor

Joking asside, I do think its somewhat silly it can spot for itself.

Isnt the point of having the early warning flares to give you sight so you can utilize tricky tactics like ninja goliaths? Having sight on the goliath just makes it sort of... Redundant.

This is just an idea but I think it would be cool if the goliath came with a pioneer/radio squad (2 man) dedicated to controlling it. So the goliath would only be able to move or detonate if it's within their control aura.

Once the goliath detonates they auto retreat.

Just though this would add a bit more counter play than a unit that simply rofls wherever it likes on the map.

OR

Make sturmpioneers build radio masts (like pathfinders for USF) that emit an control aura for the goliath, meaning you have to plan ahead.....

Just ideas mind you, so don't take offense :)

Doesnt need a sweeper to detect unless its in camo. Its fine imo. Comes in one commander and costs alot too.

Reduce sight to 0 or 5.

Unlike the demo, you can't be on top of it and its still camoed. Like a sniper, when ur close enough its spotted. So if you are quick you can escape and blow it up.

everyone blobs the same units because there are limited mobile infantry options and it's easier to do then most other things. it's also pretty strong against even the counters.
