Dafuq Relic, why u messing with the sniper?

So, as of today the British 50.cal sniper will no longer have the arty strike ability, needs vet 1 to critical shot, and can longer damage engines. I mean that really was the bread and butter of the sniper, the whole purpose and reason to spend 360 mp. Why can't we just have it on the relatively same level as the ostheer sniper? Fine, nerf its AT to the ground, but at least increase rate of fire, or make it more tanky, give us some reason to use.

... is to snipe models.

On top of that, the brit sniper can still damage vehicles and block their turrets.

He's also exactly as tanky as the German one.

Very nice, however the damage to vehicles is strange, and miniscule, and blocking their turrets doesn't really help if your versing a stug, then it stuns it for like 5 seconds. I see it as the strangest and most unnecessary assortment of strengths, Light anti-vehicle, and reduced AI?

Wait, they REMOVED IT?

I thought they just made it a default ability and made the vet1 abiltiy Critical Shot.

Oh look ANOTHER brand new user bitching about things without reading carefully.

"Coordinated Fire ability requirements removed"


The veterancy requirement for Coordinated Barrage was removed... as in you can now use it at vet 1.

I don't mind balancing, i'm just not a fan of removing the main unique roles of units. Is the UKF Sniper just going to be yet another Allies unit with overall stats and usability worse than the Axis counterpart? :(

They could have at least left the damage engine ability as Vet1, or something with ammo.. :/
