Switch Schrecks with Panzerbusche on Volks. Thoughts?

I guess really the only they thing the could do is have Lend Lease zooks but that would probably not happen.


It'd be cool if the Assault Guards in the Lend Lease commander had Bazookas instead of the PTRS that guards usually have.

The penetration increase with vet would be more worth while then.

Still see Guards and Conscripts walking around with pretty much the same thing eh? I do agree with AchArcher that an anti tank squad with them can work like the AT Inf Sec.


Soviets used PTRS rifles over the whole course of the war. Germans used Skirts on their tanks to have better protection from them. So is authetic that we have PTRS rifles in the soviet stock army.

Tank hunter squads would be more in line with OKW faction designed, as OKW is designed around hard hitting specialists units.

No, OKW has already an IR halftrack, they should use those, because combined arms and so. I'd say give them the ability to plant mines or something like this, nothing that would be op.

stock infantry vs call units. The partisan commander comes with (too) many downsides

just giving everything to sturms isn't a viable fix, but then again shrecks aren't even broken, no fix required.

To those who argue that the AT rifles on the Volks will get run over by the tanks, I would like to argue that the OKW has a Panzerschreck on wheels with the camouflage ability and bonus.

Because the Soviet Army didn't have any stronger hand-held AT except for their AT Grenades. The Soviets did not bother to develop infantry based rocket launchers until after the war. The only times rockets were used were captured Panzerfausts and very limited numbers of Bazookas.


Move the Panzershreck to Sturm Pios, give Volks panzerfaust and MP40 upgrades. Fixed.

Partially agree, move Panzerschreck to a dedicated Panzerschreck unit. Built from Battlegroup Headquarters as a supporting AT unit, counterpart to Mechanized's Puma. Maybe have a faster rate of fire or higher damage as a unit-specific bonus.

I like that concept. Maybe the tank hunter squad can have an extra ability like the Panzerfaust or an anti-tank rifle grenade.
