I just noticed the Churchill Crocodile price changed in the December patch preview mod from 180f/720mp to 230f/640mp
That's honestly over the top! after constant nerfing this unit one after another, in all aspects now such a big price increase?!!
I think if it's gonna cost that much it is better if many recent changes/nerfs get revert, cause it's too much for all these nerfs right now.
Really, should the difference between Croc and KT be 30f/80mp?!!! plus KT can arrive earlier!!!
PS. normal Churchill will also be useless in the next patch for 180f/540mp +50f/200 mp next patch, specially with the changes to OKW, you'll see

I haven't had the pleasure to play against or with the croc in the preview mod, but I suspect the range nerf + vet changes would be enough.

800mp and 350 fuel for KT and TA nao!
Same reason.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Not countered. Just scared away. Meanwhile it toasts all the support your tank has. The real problem is the synergy the Croc has combined with other units. You can pretty much kill all the soft stuff even while under AT fire, retreat and at the third engagement you still have the Croc while the Axis player has a tank and burning cadavers.
Fun fact: The 230 fuel Croco gets countered by any armor.

It gets countered by 135fuel/400 mp (JP4), u know that right? or even Stug G, or any other armor
I question the fact u suit being strategist in this forum, with the tanks you compared/mentioned there, which are all very strong vs any armor in the game!

PLAY GOD DAMN PREVIEW PATCH YOU FRIGGIN THEORYCRAFTERS!
You need a SINGLE tank to block crock movement, its snail speed and bad breath range on preview doesn't justify such drastic resource increase, I could understand if it had kept its range, but IT DODN'T.

And whacha gonna do if the Elefant comes for you... ? Seriously, the flamethrower range decrease has a huge impact on the croco performance and causes it to get dangerously close to the enemy.

Fuel cost should only be 180-200 not 230. It does come really late for something that has limited AT and a whole lot of AI, but it did get nerfs so the fuel one is a little too much.

I liked it how on brit release it was the feared strong unit that could turn the tide by itself it waited long enough for, with the flare thing for warning and so on. It was like an allied KT and it was cool. Problem was it was too cheap. And thus when one was destroyed another came on the field to finish the job. They should just give it 720/260 cost like KT and same stats it had on release.

Now with this nerf on top of huge brits nerf list i am seriously worried.
Nevertheless, croc is too good at wiping squads, bigger cost only means wiping squads for higher price. I think it should use main gun AoE decrease, not price increase, it already cost 700mp, which is huge, doubly so for UKF.
