CoH2 no fog of war
Posts: 1006
I dont have any grey colored fog over the map of the part I cant see. Can't see enemy units in the fog however.
Does anyone know a solution?
Not any idea of changing anything important.

You can see different ground in sight of your inf and different outside of it. Matter of too low settings I guess, so you can't see the contrast that well.

They seemed to get it working properly again, so maybe the same steps will help?

Despite nintendo 3ds graphic settings, looks fine to me.

took a moment for me to figure it out but if you look at the minimap there's a squad providing LoS to half the screen but it all shows up as fogged.
i have seen someone else mention this issue but i don't remember where or if they had a solution.

Updated drivers => no fog
I think this problem started after installing Windows 10.

Have windows 10. Don't have that issue. I also play on a surface pro so my settings are at the lowest.

It's possible that your driver's didn't install correctly when you installed windows 10. Uninstall your Video Card Drivers and reinstall them.
Also, does your motherboard have a Graphics Chip? It could be overriding your Video Card.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I've been having the same problem basically since I got the game.. Tried reinstalling drivers, verifying cache...
It worked when I completely reinstalled the drivers. Go to Add/remove programs and uninstall the graphic drivers. Restart the computer and then install the drivers again.
Hope it works!

Sometimes if you just go and uninstall video drivers like any other program, you might be left with some nasty registry errors or so and it will start messing with your new drivers.
Now i know this method takes a little bit longer, but you want your games to work right? I will not guarantee that this will fix your problem tho.
Let us know how it went! GL
