All faction heavies seem far too weak to small AT and yes even AT guns.

Heavy tanks are supposed to instill some level of fear even in the most strategically gifted players.

Tiger should have that effect
Churchill too
And so on.....

A weapom is only as strong as the person who uses it.

Heavies are fine and are actually probably stronger then they should be. The fact that they had to be limited to one is a strong indicator of that.

They are huge noob traps for bad players who think they should be able to just steamroll everything regardless of situation. this is commonly used and won't work in against lots of opponents because player will often expect them and be prepared to counter them.

There is a good reason why tanks like the t-34, Sherman, and p4 aren't seen in the late game and it's not because heavies are bad.

How many games have you played? What is your W/L record with each faction? Knowing these things allows people to A)take you seriously and B)give you pointers in areas of play you are clearly struggling in based on the number of recent threads you have started.

win-loss rates are a completely subjective indicator of anything. Depends on number of team mates if any, random player assignment ect ect.

Ive played 600 hrs so far. I know not thousands but i do have a life to live after all. I have played mostly ostheer except for a recent British flirt.

A heavy tanks (at 200 plus fuel) should have stats that instill a fear factor in enemy players whether in the TOP 10 or Top 1000.

How one deals with that Tank is for another discussion.

heavies are fine. they shouldn't be anymore cost efficient than lighter tanks or the game becomes unbalanced as not everyone has access to heavies (at this point all factions have them but only in certain commanders).

You obviously missed the call-in meta, with people just building infantry with very little teching and saving all their fuel for a spam of heavy tanks. If heavies get buffed that is exactly what would happen. You can always make a mod for yourself where you get to play with super heavies.

Quite frankly, this still happens surprisingly often in "high level" play.

The only reason I ever see it working is because both players float resources and one guy has a heavy tank call in and the other doesn't.

Some heavies need a bit of a buff (looking at you IS2) but for the most part they're ok.
They are sufficiently tanky to absorb punishment and deal out some in return but will still die when poorly used.

Fear factor comes from the skill of the player using the unit, not the unit itself.
