After playing for a few thousand hours, I think it's safe to say that the build orders are getting kind of stale and it just ends up the same old same old. It's quite fun when there's a real challenge and playing against some top quality players, but when it's a stomp, sometimes it just feels like a waste of time. Thread: Amazingly intense 4v4 comeback vs arranged team30 Dec 2015, 09:56 AM This game features: AI Handicap AI Gifting armour and team weapons to the enemy Soviet cheese American cheese Blobs Blobs getting wiped Armoured blobs Skillplanes doing their thang Armoured blobs getting wiped Massive comeback Stormless level throws One Axis teammate quits after facing Soviet FHQ cheese and he is told not to spam Assgrens, leaving the remaining three players with an AI but determined to win. The Axis are down roughly 300 vp's and things are getting desperate, but the belief in the power of Axis late-game pulls us through. This game is a textbook example of how being stubborn and simply playing the game out can result in a VERY satisfying ending. In: Replays

In atypical 4v4 fashion, (only) half the map was a shitshow! The other half was a somewhat tactical back and forth. Thread: AT gun "dig in" ability26 Nov 2015, 23:14 PM I think dig in would be a neat little feature, but not a flat damage reduction. Sort of like how we see sandbags and stuff go up around a hulled down tank, maybe the crew could set up sandbags around them in a frontal arc and grant green cover to the spare crew members. This would make AT guns less susceptible to infantry assaults picking off crew members (but snipers would still be excellent) and also protect one tank shell from hitting a crew member by hitting the sandbag obstacle. Kat is barely less deadly, but it has bigger range and comes faster. Don't blob, and don't ignore it firing sound. Agreed. The pwerfer, as a close range wipe/pin machine, is doing its role perfectly fine. I only rush T4 for it if I know there are blobs walking around that are asking to be wiped. However, I think the Katy is underperforming in its role when compared to pwerfer. As a long range AOE rocket artillery that should deter blobbing by axis, it doesn't give any suppression/pinning and does less damage in a bigger spread. Methinks upping the damage a little per rocket and adding suppression/pinned to units hit would bring Katy into line - thereby balancing it. I wouldn't even mind paying a bit more fuel for it if it meant more damage/utility. In: COH2 Balance
