flamethrowers do almost nothing to OKW buildings

very shitty quality, but here's a comparison between a British 17 pounder emplacement and an OKW truck. the video is on x8 speed


time to kill british AT emplacement: 47 seconds

time to bring OKW medical truck to 1/4 health: 4 minutes and 30 seconds

I think the logic is, why should OKW be punished for setting up vehciles on the front line if that's their entire stick.

(They used to have more but they go gimped)

This is because OKW trucks are also their base buildings. Go and try to burn Regimental HQ with your pios or Kampfgruppe Kompanie with combat engis, and you'll see what happens.

its becaouse relic screw up and brits emplacement take 3X flame damage more than other emplacements

That was entirely intentional, actually. Just wanted the emplacements to be easier to counter.

OKW buildings are fine, British Emplacements are utterly useless.

Even in the alpha I can't remember a time the 17pdr was useful.

It's a shame considering the one in vCoH was actually pretty gud

I'm glad as a Soviet I can place one of my base buildings that has a massive gun that insta pins and annihilates infantry, rapes light vehicles and damages tanks on top of strategic point creating huge area of denial.

Or is that just OKW?

Just OKW. Faction design. Just for the record, I also think that gun was a bad idea since the beginning
