800hp... Aint that the value that the T-34/85 (lol) and panther got?

Amis need a damage sponge. 800hp is a joke.

Panthers aren´t very survivable to concentrated AT... how is the Pershing going to absorb damage then if it´s roughly a Panther copy? It should at least have 1000hp to fulfill its role (damage sponge). With 800hp it´s going down almost as fast as a T-34/85 as a lot of weapons will still penetrate.

So my solution would be: Longer reload time and a lot more hp.

Actually, vs AT/tank guns this survivability means it will live equally long as KV-1, KV-2, EZ-8 or dozer :snfPeter::snfPeter::snfPeter:

You're basically paying 45 extra fuel for a comet with 10 more armor and bit more pen, oh and a faster TURRET TRAVERS! :sibHyena:
As I've predicted, the doctrine will be for fanboys only, I don't see it have any more value then rifle company. Both of these doctrines aren't made to enhance the gameplay, but are purely PR movement.

Don't knock turret traverse. That is the KT's weakness, and it's a major one.

You can't have everything - every heavy in this game has a down side. The Pershing is a very mobile tank with high dps and 50 range. Why should it be superior in every stat for the same price?

Its a Comet with with better pen and IS-2 price tag.
That high DPS doesn't seem to be any higher then Tiger after watching VOD.

Can't claim this unless you know the specific Aoe & Scatter values of the gun. It has also more armour.

Watch Devm how to play USF. Add Pershing for late game options.
USF has great early game. What more do you want?

In addition to its great mobility, the M26 Pershing comes together with smoke artillery. So in my view the stats for it are ok, since it can either easily get away from paks and heavy tanks or close in on them very fast without suffering a lot of damage thanks to smoke.

Rangers :
  • 1 slot still free with thompson upgrade (5 units with 4 thompson) to add a zook for example ;
  • Vet 1 : ?
  • Vet 2 : Extensive training exercices improve grenade range, weapon accuracy, and enable the squad to heal while out of combat ;
  • Vet 3 : Combat expertise increases squad survability and weapon control under fire ;

Combined Arms improved inf and vehicles sight or just inf sight and vehicules benefit from inf sight ? Does the sight improvement benefit also for our teammate (teammate see the same sight as us) ?

Why do axis tanks get jet engines that makes them harder to hit bullshit? :snfPeter:

I'd rather have this kind of abilities then lolram or lolcap point.

Sounds like piñata party. Thompson can't be dropped and only cost 90. Unless they get different Thompson Rangers look like Thompson paras with less abilities but more survivability.


In the files it looks like their thompsons will be a copy of para thompsons with pre buff accuracy

IMO the Pershing should have 1100 hp and a bit lower dps as we saw in the Livestream. The Tiger have more than +50% hp, only a bit less armor and dps, and indentical pen...

Keep in mind that the pershing also has the very strong combined arms ability, which gives the tank EXTRA range essentially giving it 60 range and 60 sight range, and its special ability is not an AP shell, but a piercing shot that pierces buildings. Like ISU-152 piercing shot.

Jacksons with more than 60 + range + self sight , ouch. The commander is going to have alot of lategame power.


Overall i can't believe some people think the pershing will be bad. The pershing is suprisingly perfectly balanced and its stats are just right. They fit in the american design of fragile, mobile and hard hitting very well.
