I don't think you can actually limit the pershing to 1.

I mean, if the game tells you can only have 1 pershing. Just decrew your tank and walla you have no pershing because your not in the tank anymore. Just call the second pershing and get back in your first one and there you go; 2 pershings.

Repeat process till your popcap is filled with tank crew men and man all your pershings.


Vehicle crew is disabled with Pershing.

in terms of real life, Pershing was just a Panther on stereoids. Better gun, better armor thus slower. Hope Relic will make it just right.

What is it with Relic's hard on for flame weapons? They are way over-represented in the game as it is. Kinda disappointed they decided on a Flame Hetzer of all things (<50 total built) to give OKW. Also, what was the point of the volk grenade change if they were releasing this commander anyway?

Pershing and rangers though :hansGASM:. Not sure if it's the best idea to put both in 1 commander but these two iconic units definitely belong in the game, long time coming.

It does not matter how it work.
What matters is that it is MP boost for faction with already huge MP float.


I always can use my mp in 1 vs 1 and still lack it because of weak volks early game so i need to go double eigt or duelbe sturms to not loose whole map (or double mg , or fussiliere / jagers) So it may help em finnaly in 1 vs 1 (you can see in charts that htey are the worst one)


On the other hand its not good idea to give USA
1. cheap russian mines on best main line infantry
2. best early game (liehtenaunt)
3. folloved by best mid game (stuart) + even increase the gap so paks get anihilated with rangers :D
4. folloved by pershing spam (because of brad pit crews that jup out of tank to call in next one)
5. and then pershing increase stats of rifles and rifles increase stats of pershing and finnaly usaa get nice smoke cover :foreveralone:


Sprice will have new experiment: Rangers + pershing spam in late game instaed of m10 + RETs spam :hansUSA:

Actually one day when i got completely bored in night i startd to think about fight fire with fire commander (4 months ago)

The commader would look pretty much like this one (with dark coat) except he had ciggar
Abilities in the end were :
0cp: all infatry gets incendiary nades
1cp: clownkubel - kubelwagon with long range flametrower (like wasp now)
3cp: flametrower - all infantry can requisition flamethrower
7cp: walking stuka incendiry barrage (like from normal walking stuka vet 4)
10cp: jagther with flamethrower


NOTE: im not kidding it really happended and from that my drunk day a dreamt about this commader for ostheer or okw , not that pershing hype.

His name was :hansGG:FIGHT WITH FIRE :hansGG:

This is going to be good. USF players will rush ahead their precious pershing, Ostheer players blow it up with double stugs supported by pak 40 and the USF players will cry on the forums about how horrid their dream tank is.

Any information about what the Rangers get, m1 garands as starting unit with thompson upgrade or just the weapon rack stuff?

Oh look, all these folks crying about how pershing will be the most OP tank in history without knowing a single stat or anything about how the tank will be implemented actually.


So, lets get the facts straight.


Pershing health - 800 (same as panther) in comparison is-2/tiger has 1040, KT has 1280
Front armor - 290 (slightly less than panther , panther has 320) IS-2 has 375
Range - 50 (same as panther) IS-2 has 40 tiger/kt has 45
Penetration - 220/240/260 ( same as panther)
Speed - slower than panther
Anti infantry power - about as good as PIV/comet/churchill etc.
vet 1 ability - HVAP rounds ( i believe)


Oh NO, so OP, USF gets a slower panther which with a bit more punch againts infantry which faces much better anti tank than the panther.

The end is NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIGH.

Oh and BTW, the pershing will take the exact same amount of shots from AT as an E8/bulldozer. Only difference between pershing and E8 is that pershing has more armor, making it deflect shots more. But againts high powered axis AT, pershing will be no more durable than an E8.

Relic will make sure not to nerf anything until they have optimal sales on the commanders though.

Just like the partisans, they probably felt like they didn't sale enough. So they gave a glimmer of hope to the commander only to crush them after they made their sales.

This were the stats from the pershing when it was in the brit alpha test.


Some other alpha testers seem to have confirmed it. My info might be outdated though.
