I cant get why they nerf commandos. 1 commandos squad couldn't wipe inf in seconds, 2 of them could. BUT this unit cost you 500 MP to call in one commander and 900 MP to build first one in second (540+360).

So they nerfed their DPS, mkay its fine, but hell, they are dropping models like crazy, even 1 LMG gren squad could kill 2-4 models on approach.

While their damage is slightly better then shock one, shocktroops still have titanium armor, kill squads rather fast AND can be beaten 1v1 only by Obersoldaten. Cost you 390 MP ... lelic balance.

Hmmm. Commando's at 500mp is gonna be a tough pill to swallow now. Sure their performance was absurd, but so was their cost.

Commandos goes 350 Manpower, you pay 150 for the Glider.

Sections should be not cheaper than Grens in their reinforce cost (28mp vs 30 mp) There is just no logic or sense behind that.


:( Before this they were unkillable by volk,
now, Thing get easier for Brits to bleed OKW n Harder for OKW to bleed UKF cause
IS just deal DMG to Volk even in Green Cover at any range

Better to say that you pay 150 for showing enemy that your commandos are comming, giving him time to react and respond. While all other squads which can be called from ambient buildings can perform and provide much more hit'n'run attacks then commandos.

Commandos had extreme DPS, but at the same time enemy will ALWAYS knew that commandos are coming and ALWAYS see where they are landed.

P.S. if there is OKW flak HQ, glider will be pretty much always destroyed after landing, which means no ability to reinforce hurr-durr.

In that case 500 MP commandos call in pretty much worthless, since commandos are probably the weakest (in survivability) elite inf in the game, before Fallshims were weakest, but since Fallshims can be used at medium and long range, while commandos can be only used in close range, this makes commandos weakest and the most expensive elite inf in the game.

From Glider HQ they are fine, since they are on pair with PGs and Sturms (which probably would have nice chances of beating them now). But 500 MP for a single commandos squad is BS. Commandos call-in in that case should cost around 400-450 MP, not 500.

Then complain to Relic about the Glider, not the Commandos, who were massively overperforming. I believe no unit should be able to kill a full infantry squad in 3 seconds with just their guns. Especially when said infantry had Predator cloaking and can literally appear out of thin air mere feet from you.

Cough cough, stg obers, cough cough, shocks. So maybe they needed a nerf fine, but 500 mp, for commandos with half dps and a crap glider is not worth it and never will be worth it. In a few weeks when commandos are extinct from the battlefield, I will point back to this post and say I told you so.

I missed this bit earlier, it's wrong. Commandos do around 120 DPS, models have 80 health. Commandos ambush can wipe even Obersoldaten in 4 unless they are Vetted.

Hmmmmm... While the Churchill needs a nerf, I feel the regular Churchill should still have better armour than the specialist variants on account of it's cosmetic look and lack of powerful weapons. The health nerf is fine but the armour nerf looks like it's a little much. Though maybe improving it's armour with Vet might be a nice compromise. Just my 2 cents.

As for infantry section, I think the this "10%" decrease in reinforcement cost is too low. It should be no lower than 30 Manpower to match Grenadiers. They are too strong to match American Riflemen.

Like seriously plz tell me what is the basic indirect fire UKF has at the moment to form its combined arms? all factions should have that in their army but brits don't.

2nd, their only option (mortar pit), and other emplacements are useless because of the ISG. please check this thread.

Those changes you proposed are great, but they still don't address the UKF emplacements being not viable and useless.

UKF does not have basic indirect fire, and hence they don't have combined arms. :foreveralone:

Not sure about Penetration differences, but the standard Churchill does 160 damage with the main gun while the Crocodile variant does just 80.

Commandos do 120 DPS currently, Shocks do 80, StG Obers do 60. Commandos STEN do more damage than Ober's IR StG. In my opinion, no fresh squad should have base damage higher than a Shock Squad, yet Commandos do 50% more.

what about the light gammon bomb on commandos...??? and only fucking 200 health reduction is this is a joke.??? it should be like 1040 for mk7 and 800 for avre and crocodile...and no changes to okw shitty commanders and their elite units...??? other that all other changes look ok

Changes seem mostly pretty good. I imagine some of them will be slightly adjusted after the community plays the Mod for a bit (maybe Tommy's reinforce price slightly increased or what have you).

Not sure how I feel about the Churchill change... it definitely needs toned down but now it'll only have 5 more armor than Easy-8s and with its lack of speed I just see it getting gangbanged fairly easily. Especially when you consider the stage of the game it shows up at with the Anvil teching cost. Kind of wish they'd have just slightly reduced both its HP + Armor instead of taking off 80 armor but we'll see how it plays.
