DevM vs Aimstrong Conspiracy Theory

Did DevM lose against Paul on purpose so he would be facing his friend and clan mate Aimstrong in Grand Finals only and not knocking each other out in semifinals beforehand?

http://coh2org.challonge.com/ocfmainevent

... They would create a huge hype for their own clan

... They would ensure each other the top 2 prize pool winnings (splitting in half?)

... They would have a lot of fun together as two vcoh friends completely ruling the COH2 scene

... How could DevM lose against Paul 2:0 when DevM is 2:0-ing almost everyone else including Luvnest who 2:0-ed Paul?

Of course its vague, but not entirely absurd either imo

What do you think?

//Edit:
At the end of the day I also think OCF is a huge success, I'm hoping to see DevM beat OMGPOP and can't wait to see the finals between Aimstrong and DevM no matter if DevM lost on purpose beforehand or not. Master of UKF vs. God of USF (unfortunately not applicable)

How did Siberian, HelpingHans and VonIvan lose when they are so good?

Bad luck.

Edit: DevM had some close games, as did Paul and Luvnest. Not every game was a simple rompstomp 2-0 defeat like Aimstrong vs OMGPOP lol.

You do make a very convincing argument. And after all Jews did kill the dinosaurs to cause JFK to go into hiding, just long enough to melt steel beams, so stranger things have definitely happened.

JFK was in love with Marlin MONROEWINAH and fled the White House via the secret tunnels. They eventually shot Angela Merkel's Greek playmate and demanded ransom, thus Merkel is now paying them the ransom, which results in the Greek financial crisis

Devm has forseen this madness and will now infiltrate the Greek financial sector whilst gaining money from coh2 tourney with which he can save Greece and become the new Achilles and the new national hero, the ultimate warrior.

Aimstrong wants to land on the moon, but needs financial security in order to take OMGPOLLO 11 to the moon. But OMGPOLLO's main circuit has issues and results in furious bugs that never let go of the main circuit's programming, resulting in eventual tantrums of electrical mayham.

I knew it all along

If they have planned sth like that devm would 'loose' in match J or K. He lost in match C and he couldn't have known back then thany either he or aimstrong can even beat all the other players. Nobody would gamble like this.

If he lost in match J it would have been too obvious, he had to lose in C to make sure we wouldn't notice.

And well that wasn't even good enough... Maybe next time he should lose in the qualifier to make sure.

Statistically speaking it is quite comical that he wipes the floor with everybody minus paul. However.. Isn't it more beneficial to DevM to not throw the games vs. Paul? And it isn't like paul is a bad player he's top tier. Paula could've just had the better day tbh.

Also, we're going by statistics. His games vs. Vindicare need the context of Vindicare coming directly out of a 50 minute match vs. Paul. It's much less impressive to me because fatigue played a larger thought than the statistics would have you believe.

Still the sweep is quite comical. Also finally we need to remember: If x loses to y and b beats x does that mean if y beats b he's better than x? No.

I write as a member here, not as an Admin

If it goes to the vote, as I hope it may, the results to date tell me we should not not seed again in a big event, in this way. In other words, we take the Cruzz way (not the Conway)... fight through, from start to finish...everybody.

And yes, I did support the idea of seeding...
