Hey Everyone!

The team thinks they may have isolated the problem to the Reverb, which was removed with the last balance patch. Has anyone experienced this bug since the September 17th patch went live?

no but i've never experienced it at all, despite always having sound on high. used to have inbuilt realtek and now have an ASUS Xonar essence STX on third party drivers.

Will keep my ears out for gunshot bug. I remember encountering it recently, but not sure when. :) Thank you Relic <444>3 <444>3

hmm I will give a try, since gunshot bug appears I have turned off my in game sound, and play music to save my ear. usually I just spam space bar and check tactical map for info.

Generally not had it much at all recently, always playing on high (my game sound levels are not that high compared to TS volume though)

I did just have it in the last game I played however.

I have not experienced it, but then I've been playing with sound quality on medium. I'll set it back to high and see what happens *shudders in fear*.

now that it's mentioned, i'm fairly certain i haven't had it since the sept. 17th patch... then again, i haven't played it too much.

I think i've heard the gunshot sound in the new patch (on high settings), but it was much more quiter (like a "normal" gunshot) and sounded a little bit different/out of place.

I will bump my sound up to high and keep my ears open. I've never been so excited at the prospect of being deafened before.

Edit: Did 4 games tonight with sound set to high without the gunshot bug happening. Fingers crossed it's fixed.

I haven't played that much, but I experienced sound changes, like the maxim sound "far" (when you are looking at the other side of the map and you hear it firing in distance) is a lot more different.

I'm fairly confident I still hear it but it nearly completely muted. Either that or I have brain damage caused by it.

Probably this. I've already lost some hearing capacity of my left ear because of gun fire, and every time I hear this bug I'm like good... I'm gonna be deaf one day.

RIP sound bug? Not sure how I feel about this. :foreveralone:

First it was a nemesis. Now it is a friend. That shaggy wet dog who looks like shit but is loyal. I might be suffering separation anxiety.

Farewell old familiar gunshot bug. I hope you don't return, and yet, still hope that you stay
