So I ran couple tests with loiter Sturmovnik, strafe, CAS and SCAS.

I used same target in same place - 2 Volks, 1 SP and 1 Puma.

1 Volks squad lowered to 70%
1 to 80%
SP to 90%

Results are really funny.

SCAS with all runs:
Puma down; 5 models down

CAS:
Puma down; 2 models down

Sturmovnik with all runs:
Puma 70% HP left; 2 Models down

Sturmovnik strafe:
Puma 50% HP left, 3 models down

So in the end, Sturmovnik for 180ammo is worse than strafe

i presume SCAS is the single pass?

JU strafe can kill full health Sherman.

People keep claiming this but in a dozen tests on T-34's I wasn't able to recreate it once

Uderpowered for 180 munition. Should damage tanks somewhat and supress infantry better.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

The only time I've wiped a squad with the IL2 strafe was when my opponent had an idling pio squad on top of Smines in red cover
