Yea, its because squad bunch in cover.

Guess where brit infantry needs to be at all times to be effective?

Haha :D Yeah, I don't send my Riflemen, conscripts and grenadiers into cover, cause - you know - they don't get an off bonus like infantry section. So cover its pretty useless for every other faction.

Let's turn this boring whine fest of a thread into a fun game. You know what to do.

LeIG blob buffed by Sturm Officer new meta.

The buffs the Sturmoffizer gives don't really help the ISG with anything.

It's vet is the same as it ever was, to say, complete garbage because it buffs the barrage which is useless.
Not completely. You use the barrage against emplacements, and it gets buffs to autofire at vet 2 and 5, I believe.

Have you ever seen a vet 5 LelG? They usually get decrewed at one point or another (even with 4 models)

Yes, I have. I usually get at least 1 of my pair to vet 5 in a match if it drags on long enough.
They are quite easy to decrew, though, and require lots of attention in case the enemy gets frustrated enough to attempt to attack them directly. If infantry gets anywhere near them you have to pull them back.

It seems fine when I play Soviets and USF. When I play Brits it seems to murder me and my teammate. Not nearly as bad as snipers, but I'd say probably the 2nd toughest strat for us to face.

Double ISG is very effective against emplacements, very long range and good for keeping them braced more or less constantly and randomly wiping engineers trying to repair them. Also great for dealing with Brits generally because model losses are very costly and they have sparse field presence due to manpower constraints.

too acurate for its range and deal to much damage to tanks even mediums making light vegicles useless. esderday played a 1v1 game vs minimum 4 of them.

It's a 75mm gun, of course it should be able to pen tank armor. The Pack Howi and HMC both do about as much damage to vehicle as it does.

No way does it make lights useless. It hardly ever hits them. I call BS on this.

If the guy had 4 ISGs, he had pretty much nothing else in his army. That's 1320 manpower. A single M20 could probably kill them.

Considering its OKWs only indirect that doesn't cost 100 fuel, that it's vet is still trash, and the Pack Howi got buffed to its fine

LOL. Are you really using this unit? 2 LeIG next to flak HT it's rekts everything until KAT/PRIEST hits the field. Pack howie it's more expensive (in numbers and related to faction mp depending) and doesn't wipe squads in range as LeIG.

The only nerf it needs is that it should appear in the fog when firing, as should all other artillery pieces.

Yeah, 40 MP more expensive because it takes 4 deaths to decrew opposed to the ISG's 3. And the Pack Howi has larger AoE (meaning more reliable suppression) and it's vet is light years ahead of the ISG's.

Nope

Unlocks the 'Hollow Charge' ability
+25% speed, -23% received accuracy
-40% barrage recharge, +33% barrage range
+100% shots fired per barrage
+30% penetration +50% damage

It doesn't get any benefit for it's autofire until it hits Vet 5, which is insanely stupid. Hollow Charges and the Vet 2 are both in compition for worst veterancy level in the game.

Don't get me wrong the ISG is very effective, but it needs to be because it's all OKW's got outside the Stuka. I would be fine with a cost increase + a fixing of it's vet.

The game needs its artillery to be good, not useless.

Damn right. I'm looking at you ML-20 with 160dmg! Still angry!

Let me ask you a question-do you know why AA and AT guns have longer barrels and support infantry guns and howitzers have shorter? All of them can be 75mm, but not all of them will be able to put a dent on a tank.

Yeah facing dual ISGs is insanely frustrating playing as the Brits. Sniping models/squads everywhere you go, with the occassional (but crippling) wipe. Plus two of them shutdown emplacements anyway. It probably just needs a slight accuracy reduction or AoE profile change is all.
