No, that's an American Waco Glider. As in, the gliders the US Glider Infantry Regiments were transported with. So USF might get Glider infantry/a Glider HQ too. It's actually smaller than the Horsa (IRL).

The Horsa was British, the Waco (called the Hadrian by the British), which you just showed us has a portrait in the game files, was American.

The Hadrian was used by the British too, they liked it for it's compact size which was useful if the landing area was forested and you needed to fit in a clearing. Really the UKF should have had these instead of the larger Horsa Gliders which take up 1/3 a map sector. I made a thread about it before: http://www.coh2.org/topic/39948/horsa-vs-hadrian-an-unusual-choice.

They's not necessary, the Luftwaffe operated their own Gliders. Luftwaffe Gliders were just used differently, instead of for air-landings, they used them for difficult supply runs, especially in encircled territories.

Just for fun, someone tell me if this is good.

Field Company

0 CP: Forward Medical Detachment

Deploy a WC51 Doge transport jeep carrying medics to the frontline. You get the Mechanized Company Jeep, but with Medics inside.

3 CP: M1919 LMG
Allows Rifles to effectively fight infantry at long range.

5 CP: Waco Supply Glider

A heavy-duty supply glider enters friendly territory. Infantry can reinforce and equip from weapon racks near it; the sector it's in becomes locked-down while it remains intact.

9 CP: Reserve Mobilization

Similar to Rapid Conscription; for every infantry model lost you get a refund in MP of the reinforcement cost of that model.

12 CP: Precision Bombing Strike

A low-flying P47 Thunderbolt drops 200 LB bombs on the target location. Similar to Stuka Bombing Strike, but arrives to the battlefield faster.

I'm not really sure of the utility of the medics and supply glider and the stuka bomb strike is already fast enough.

Really if you were to give the US a glider replace the airdropped combat group's AT gun with a glider insertion.

That's what they're supposed to do though. This is why USF has smoke grenades on their mainline infantry.
