Just use Sniper/swarm the Brits with Volks and Panzerfusies, it seems like it should work.

DPS stands for Damage Per SECOND which is as dependent on damage as is it is on reload.
Yeah and since I know the Elefant and Firefly had similar reload times I was looking at the damage.

Just a small correction; the OKW Panther has a 7.5 second reload. The Ostheer Panther is the one with a 6.5 second reload.

NVM have to make calculations agains.
Forgot that OKW is the only tank with wind down. AND OH seems to have it also, so it's 7.5 for both. The only difference is the min/max reload which end up been the same on average.

WTF is this argument? You can't just claim one unit is vetted and another isn't to prove your point. Does that mean that since a vet 2 Ostheer P4 has the same armor as a stock OKW P4, the Ostheer P4 has the same armor stats?

If you are proven wrong, just admit it FFS.

This is a straight up lie. The firefly had a similar turret rotation to a Tiger vet 0. If you are complaining about the Panther's turn rate, you have either never fought nor used one, when comparing it to other heavys and mediums.

And the Firefly is about 30 fuel cheaper than the Panther, has the HP and armor of a Sherman, 240 damage with long reload (lowest TD DPS) and 60 range. If you can kill a Sherman with a Panther, you should never struggle versus a Firefly.

Like seriously, don't spread bullshit on these forums please.

So would the following purpose/performance comparisons be approximately correct?

Cromwell = Panzer IV
Comet = T-34/85
Firefly = Panther

Firefly is more leke jacson tank but it has no other similar tank becuase of high damage and slow reload it is more support tank that does big dmg , retreat behind lines after 9 seconds come back and does another big damage etc.

And come is more like pather with a bit less armor and nice ai capability not t34/85

anyone notice they added MG's to Firefly and armored car?

In alpha firefly had effectively 0 AI, now it has some. Same for AEC.

They always had MGs.

FF even had hilarious bug connected to it at vet3.

Being wrong =/= lying. The issue in this past case was me incorrectly stating my intentions, which is my fault. Sorry your so upset by this.

Anvil is for the big game turtles, and double speed building/repairing RE's, increased vision for points, churchill meatshield, and the extra shells for the base (and these shells werent bad, i think each gun fires two of them and they can deal great damage if it actually hits something) are great for helping you defend your territory.

Churchill is very affordable, at least for the moment, and if has the same durability as usual, then its a great tank at pissing people off with as churchill cant die unless they hit a mine/get fausted or encounter TWP.

And great for soaking up damage for Fireflies VVV

Thanks for the info- how strong is the churchill exactly? When I saw it, I was thinking "KV-1..."

I dont think they changed it... But in the alpha, it wasnt disappointing, at least for me. I really dont know if they changed it (the 40 minute video of brits strongly suggests its still very similar as before, the single raketen was barely denting its hp), but it had 280 frontal armor and... Someone said 1400 health in the alpha, but it sure is over 1000 hp. Oddly comet has 290... These WERE the stats before, or at least the ones i just believed as churchills did survive ass-poundings and my comet bounced pak40+ raketen in a row at close range...

Dont quote me on this as it was pretty hard to discuss stats on Alpha forums without having someone who knew how to access them in the discussion. But its more appealling than the kv-1. We'll see Monday.

Is the Churchhill essentially a KV1? That with Firefly sounds fun.
