Kicking off at 10:00am PDT/6:00pm BST/7:00pm CET on August 31 and ending at 2:00pm PDT/10:00pm BST/11:00pm CET on September 2, up to 55,000 players will be able to try out the British army's sixteen new units and six unique Commanders, as well as take a tour of the expansion's eight additional maps.
Relic asks players to keep an eye on the official CoH2 Twitter feed for details on where to grab a key. They'll be handing them out themselves, and via various media partners.
The British Forces will be available from September 3, 2015 for $12.99/£9.99/€12.99 as a stand-alone package or as an expansion for the core game. If you only pick up the new pack, you'll still be able to play other factions on all the regular CoH2 maps.

I don't know why they don't just call it an open beta and give access to everyone for a week.
The bad part about this trial is that everyone will be playing allies and I'll have to play axis all the time

Sounds like a good idea to me. I had almost as much fun playing against the Brits as I did with them in the alpha. It was interesting to try and figure out how to counter them, and to see what other people were doing with them.

There are no weak commanders. Three had churchill callins, one was commandos, one artillery, and the other was frontline support.
Unfortunately, i believe my favorite commander is rare, as well as the spoil-russian-conscripts commander for 2v2's.
