I wont buy it when it is released. Also, I will wait it to be %66 off in order to buy it. However, I still would like it to be OP. Therefore, the producer could gain some profit to keep supporting the game. I'm ok to play against an OP army since I really like pushing my limits..

I wasn't in Alpha but it's safe to assume that some general tweaking will be needed after the release with some mix of UP/OP of various units.
Of course we all know there are going to be several XXX OP threads as players figure out how to deal with the Brits regardless of how UP/OP the units actually are.
That being said free hats are awesome.

They will be OP because Relic probably will have not been able to fully test all the factions abilities in the context of the current meta.

Regardless of how strong/weak Brits would be, people who do not want to adapt and improve would cry.

For some clarification this is to get an opinion of whether players would prefer a new faction to come into the game UP and buffed post release or come in OP and nerfed post release.
So if you were to buy UKF would you prefer to get your money's worth 6 months after it releases or would you prefer to lose some value by the faction getting nerfed 6 months after release? I am asking not so much about whether you think UKF is going to be OP or UP, but rather how you view the value of a new faction product.

Sounds to me like the Brits are going to have the advantage of good units, maybe even the best units... without a fucking resource penalty. OKW units have to be better or it´s not balanced.

With all the doom and gloom surrounding the upcoming UKF faction; I was wondering what people would prefer balance wise for the UKF on release. This is all considering Relic's previous track record of releasing factions not in balance with the rest of the meta.
Would you prefer he UKF to be released Overpowered and (given Relic's track record) not properly patched for 6 months? Leading to spams of "nerf this unit" threads and allegations of fanboy being thrown around for 6 months.
Or would you prefer the UKF to be released Underpowered and (given Relic's track record) not properly patched for 6 months? Leading to spams of "buff this unit or add this unit" threads and allegations of fanboy being thrown around for 6 months.
Unfortunately we are out of free hats.
i expect brits to be good cuz axis had their little fun curb stomping the allies (especially with the OKW and OST dream team pair) for far too long

I think it would be OK, the only problem I see is that it replaces USF on account of actually being useful.

Brits make USF look like MP float faction.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Not quite. I bought OKW in November because I was frustrated to have my Wehr MGs swarmed by riflemen and oorahing conscripts charging. OKW was way stronger at that point.
It doesn't matter.
People would buy NEW faction. Balance state is irrelevant.

Allies will dominate 3v3s and 4v4 imo.
The british emplacements + the aggressive soviets, USF will give Axis a very hard time and a new challenge to deal with
But im hoping they will add new doctrines for the Axis aswell

this,it annoys me very much taht people compare vet 4 and 5 okw units with their allied counterparts and seem to forget that okw gets resoruce penalty for that and okw is a specialist faction if they don't get best unit at what they do...after first round of patches after ukf drops i m dropping coh 2 game and bug fuck you to relic if it happens.
