I say remove. Heavy snow I'm kind of fine with but men freezing is just annoying. Blizzards should decrease accuracy of all units, even indirect fire and vehicles but no health should be lost on infantry.

This might help keep some of the strategic elements of blizzards without imposing too much more micro tax.

No need to remove it entirely as there are people who like it. I'd just make it a separate mode or map pool for a more casual play.

Keep it but make it a debuff instead of death.

I agree with Robbie: it should just be a debuff penalty that can be negated by cover, nearby fire (burning wrecks) and veterancy.

I like the idea of your environment having an effect on your gameplay. But freezing just causes extra micro with no real tactical purpose. Besides not watching your units die...

Why not also let them be attacked by wild bears if crossing a forest? Or die of starvation if not fed with a sandwich by clicking the "sandwich"-button?

Apparently all infantry need to be immune to the effects of winter is a shrek, according to volksgrenadiers.

The fact that volks get cold immunity with shreks is evidence enough (more than enough) that either cold immunity equipment should be available to all units of all factions, or be removed altogether.
