Short story: I have always hated the infantry crushing mechanics in almost every coh version or iteration.
Proposed fix for running over infantry with tanks:
* When the infantry is suppressed or pinned, then the tank is able to crush infantry to death
* If the inf is simply standing up, the tanks are only able to push the troops around
I will also set up a poll, to see if there is some consensus.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

But with these tweaks, you would no longer have to retreat on such occasions. And the tanks that were design-wise meant for AT purposes could no longer have the possibility of becoming AI beasts (without any support). Game improves and everyone wins.
There is truly only one emote, when you try to improve the game, and people rather spam messages regarding sturmtigers.

Only bad crush mechanic is m10 crush. A TD shouldnt e able to cause mass retreats just it can barrel dive into your troops and wipe squads.
But a panther crushing is ok?

Crush prevents you from leaving infantry in combat against an opponent with higher levels of skill. Your infantry are out of place and the tank is being microed to kill them. Either learn to support your infantry better or press T. Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill.

M10 is too cheap and spammable either way. It needs ist cost increased and the problem dissapeares.

Yeah the M10 needs to be looked at infantry crushing wise. It shouldn't force a retreat every time you see one. OKW doesn't have snares to slow them down either :/

Just experienced that it is easier to crush infantry with allied than with axis tanks... Dont ask me why.

Crush doesn't take any exceptional amount of skill. At least not with Allied tanks that have a higher top speed. The German Panzers don't even really get crushes often. At least not that I've seen, even when using Blitz I don't really get any crushes.
