It needs a damage upgrade, hitting close to units and just tickling them. It needs to land direct hits to accomplish anything. Not worth 600 mp

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Remember USA howitzer from COH 1?, it had homing artillery shells that landed directly on enemy units that were in your line of sight, so if you make LEFH have the same ability or make it hit its targets with pinpoint accuracy, i think only those are good changes to the howitzer, since it cant kill tanks with a few shots, so give it super homing RNG shells or super accuracy (only problem i see with increased accuracy, is that Axis players would bomb the hell out of enemy infantry blobs, if they would mass retreat to the HQ)

Even if i'am agree the OST mortar is better, the Sov mortar still have:
- Better survivability
- Better precision
- Attacking less entities per squads ( if we forget fusiliers )
LeFH have 0 advantage compared to ML-20

This is only the case in Soviet vs Wehrmacht. The WFA have completely offset this balance.

LeFH is amazing vs USF blobs and Major.
Versus Soviets, counter barrage takes out 120, ML or even Katy.

Well, it reloads faster and can't be skillplaned because allies have just a single doc with recon and bombing run.
I'd call that incomparable survivability advantage as its pretty much uncounterable if you're not going for this single ISU doc.

And Riflemen, luitendent, captain, major, pathfinders, IR pathfinders, 50cals, AT guns, and Assault engineers.
If you compare Soviet mortar vs OWK with Ost mortar vs USF, both are shooting at roughly the same squad sizes, but one fires 3 times faster.

LeFh can rape bases now....fire at the base when you see him retreating infantry and you will hit something...don't expect it to hit everything you want and it will work as intended

Question : Does stuka zu fuss can kill a 100% health ML-20 ?
if not, OKW is in real trouble against ML-20

I suggest an upgrade option to 15cm-sFH18 for 90 Ammo or give it more rounds/less reload time. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

LeFH seems fine to me,maybe reduce shells of the ML-20 by 2.
Faster rate of fire is better against moving targets,slow but high damage good against structures.
Allies are mobile,Axis can camp.

Irrelevant...I can also say that Grenadiers do 100% better at killing infantry than Conscripts...or that P4 is superior to T34...see the similarities?
If one unit is superior(and not 100%,let's not be retarded please) the other one should be it's equal?what happened to asymetric gameplay?

You know. The way I see it personally is that LeFH is a fine piece of artillery that does its job. Counter battery is a good answer to Katyusha.
Stats wise it's not exactly as powerful as the ML20, but then again does it have to be?
There's plenty of of German tanks that are much stronger than their soviet/usf counterparts. and in the case of the KT/jagd/elephant there's nothing to even compare it to. That's the game balance bit.
USF and Soviet had a huge artillery advantage over Germany in WW2. US though much more advanced technology and general doctrine and of course mechanization/motorization. Soviets had the most by far. Thats the history bit.

I dont actually think it does.
At Vet 3 the LeFH has practically zero cool down time between barrages. Coupled with a Arty Officer which can over ride any cool down with his ability (and increased range!) and I think the LeFH is in a wonderful spot.
ML20 could use a couple less shell maybe...to be determined.
