I have read the next balance patch notes and I lol...

Relic says they want to increase the viability of light vehicle combat. So the T70/M5/SU76 will come out earlier than before by 40 fuel. And they increases OSTHEER Building 3 and Building 4 fuel cost(Stug and Pz4 will be late), then decreases USF T3 building cost(quick STUAT).

So the first T70 needs only 50+80+75-50=155 fuel cost the next patch. (Don't forget 50 fuel is given to soviet at the starting of the game.)

The first STUAT needs only 60+80-40=100 fuel. (Dont't forget 40 fuel is given at the starting.)

Then what does the Ostheer have that time? 222 and 251 will be the designed counters ??? LOL...

You wanna balance the game? Nope, you are destroying the game. You want people to build more light vehicles? Nope, OST players will never build 222 and 251 the next patch, because they must build pak40s (320 MP) first... Then make a quick StugIII or Pz4 to counter the allies light vehicles.

T70s are coming the next patch. Don't forget the Soviet Industry commander... As an ostheer player, I will never play ost the next patch...

T70 after 105 Fuel (+50 start fuel 155) sounds not bad, but the build time of T3 is now 170 secound, so you need almost 3 minutes to build it. Don´t know what exactly to think about, but we will see how it will roll out in a week.

Isn't it something like 15? Definitely not 40.

T-70 and Stuart will arrive as soon as Luchs!

Oh the tragedy!

You'll need hard AT as soon as allies now and won't be able to jack off on grens and MG42 alone until fast P4 anymore!

Also tech cost changes made soviet industry even weaker, so I have no idea why you are afraid of it.

for me it seems fine and offers new strategies, would not over flame it! And with a build time of 170 secounds it will not come at the 5 minute mark like some people are aware off.

USF obviously will tech nades to deal with MG42 and possibly will tech bars+zooks before building stuart.

So

The first STUAT needs only 60+80-40=100 fuel

The first Stuart realistically need 25+15+60+80-15 = 165 accumulated fuel
Quite different result, right?

I think the M5 Quad Half track is going to be way more of an issue than the T-70. It's so damn cheap and will be arriving really early.

*gasp* you're... you're trying to tell us that there is something that requires muni early game, will be needed and isn't LMG or rifle nade?!

Thats just too much management, micro, macro and planning to bear!

The best part is there is no "obviously".

If fast stuart or quad is an option, some people might choose either depending on the situation (just as Ost will now have to make a choice in muni use).

More choices, and a longer mid-game, are GOOD things!

Because the okw no longer needs to worry about the callin meta getting a puma is now viable. as for the ostheer you can get a t-70 out but the ostwind/p4 will be right behind it. and it will likely bea ostwind since the ostwind can counter the entire tier 3

1. Source? Provide a link first.
2. If true, then is the most stupid thing I've ever heard since game launch. MMM.... First Windustry apparition could have been even more stupid though this one is very stupid too.
So, basically, one playing as Axis must lose initiative from startgame, everything hw will be allowed to do, will be defending his ass untill he will be overwhelmed. What excellent balance measure. I would laugh my ass off if it wouldn't totaly kill the game in such way that it wouldn't be funny not even if you won. Allies victory in 10 minutes mark = balance.

OKW can get their shreks and raketens out so easily, for OKW there is not any problem. Not sure about Wehrmacht, im not going to make any statements.

The 222 can do actually ok damage to the t70 if it gets behind it, though if relic's intention is to increase the effectivness of light vehicles the 222 needs a rather huge buff, it now doesn't die as easily as before and is an ok recon vehicle, but it's still pathetic in combat.

Its dirt cheap.
You can't expect much of such low cost vehicle.

Not from a single one at least.

I would like them to be more effective against infantry, but they already are light vehicle soft counter as well. You can't have generalist vehicle at such low price and have it effective against both inf and light armor. Does greyhound still loses to it?

Single one will always be a scout, you need at least two to have some decent Ai firepower.

I would support making it come with autocannon upgrade but cost 30 fuel and more MP.
