Faceplate's that indicate ELO/Rank?

For Instance the US leader-board should go something like this:
Above 2000 Copper Faceplate (Private)
Top 2000: Bronze Faceplate (Corporal)
Top 1000: Silver Faceplate (Sargent)
Top 500: Gold Faceplate (Lieutenant)
Top 100: Platinum Faceplate (Captain)
Top 50: Diamond Faceplate (Major)
Top 10: Masters Faceplate (Colonel)
Top 5: Grandmasters Faceplate (Major General)
3rd: Unique Faceplate (Lieutenant General)
2nd: Unique Faceplate (General)
1st: Unique Faceplate (General of the Army)
Below is the vcoh ranking system that could definitely be implemented once more.

I believe this would be a great incentive for people to return to the game as well as newcomers as there would be something to aim for.

Where is the competitive community people? Also this doesn't only have to be for them either. Compstompers could also be rewarded with faceplates as well for specific achievements.
Finally it doesn't take a lot of effort to design a few faceplates. Heck, even the community could do that for Relic.

Everyone who plays ranked games vs other players would care, beside it would be cool if reaching a certain rank awarded you with something, it's an incentive to improve.

People are quitting in team games right now, because their team mates don't have prestige 3 or whatever, the dropping rate will even increase if you see the skill level before a game.

Wow I am truly surprised with the amount of people rejecting this idea outright.
Where is the competitive community people? Also this doesn't only have to be for them either. Compstompers could also be rewarded with faceplates as well for specific achievements.
Finally it doesn't take a lot of effort to design a few faceplates. Heck, even the community could do that for Relic.
The competitive community in CoH2 is small enough that we don't need face plates to recognize each other. One can normally tell player quality either by recognition or by clan tags.
I mean I'm not opposed to the idea but I can see why most people don't care.

For the 6-7 months that League of Legends allowed free queue-dodging (leaving a game before everyone picks their champions), the number of people who queue-dodged because somebody picked their favourite champion or somebody picked a champion they thought was shit jumped from approximately 0% (because the penalties were the same as losing a game, so why not give it a shot?) to every single fucking game.
Since Coh2 has no penalty if an entire team leaves the game before 5 minutes (?), I can see this being strongly abused to prevent rank loss ala League of Legends.

You have to understand the mainstream propaganda push for socialism in the world to comprehend this. It starts with not allowing any competitive physical play in public schools in gym classes. From there, it expands into other realms and long story short - we cannot all be equal if there are achievers. Achievement is bad, and thus your idea is bad. It is far better for us to all be equal.
As a matter of fact, I will note your objections to the current platform.
