It'd work if it was just one volley instead of four maybe.

Maybe.

WTF Kat is already the best piece of arty in the game and it can come at 11 minute mark, if it pinned..wow.

PD: Also, Falls spawning out of the building instagibbing it? Good, it may work the FIRST time, but not anymore, because any comoetent allied player will either kill the buildings or play more safely with the kat.

troll thread

Step-by-step relic balance

If an allied unit has an equivalent axis unit it must be either

1. not cost-effective

2. useless

3. be effective at feeding axis units vet

4. or all the above

all this is equivalent to the priest Kappa

Good thing that Katyusha is nothing of those ;)

Queen missed one

5. Be less effective than Axis equivalent. (i.e. stuka wipes entire retreating squads, katusha gibs some squads.)

More expensive things do more damage?

make it more expensive i'd rather have to just buy 1 instead of buying 3 to do the axis equivalent.

This is concept of asymetrical balance if you haven´t noticed . OKw tend to build quality and specialised units , russia gets quantity (6 men squads , cheaper and weaker bas tanks etc)

Uh, due to OKW's fuel penalty the Stuka costs about 136 fuel, so it's almost worth two Kat's. The Kat and Stuka are also two different rolls of artillery, the Kat is focused on area denial and the Stuka is made for breaking enemy defensive lines in preparation for an assault.

That is very funny. Mostly I only see it being used to wipe allied infantry which is easy to guess on all the dota lane like maps

Wiping infantry after forcing a retreat is a smart idea, you can also do the same thing with the Katyusha now.

The Stuka is essentially built for countering support weapon spam pretty much.

Alexzandvar is apparently on painkillers as he has stated several times after being caught in his bullshit. Instead of just reading the threads(and not contributing because his brain wasn't functioning) he kept claiming one false after another until using said excuse...

Give Katyusha 12-15 armor making it semi-proof to small arms fire, should still die in 1 hit to an AT gun because it's a bloody truck. It also effective out at farther ranges than the Pwerfer.

.....

Great, so when are you going to apply that logic to the Kubelwagen, which is a bloody Volkswagen, and certainly less sturdy than a bloody truck.

It has less armor than the Katyusha by a long shot soooooo.....

I never said the Stuka doesn't wipe squads? Yeah it does very well because it's expensive an represents a very large investment.

He hasn't even said anything "bullshit" in this thread, man.

It's true: the Stuka and the Katy fulfill different roles. Personally, I'd rather have a Katy than a Stuka, since it's cheaper, can fire more often and, in my opinion, is easier to aim effectively. Often when I'm playing OKW I find that the long line shape of the Stuka's barrage doesn't match the shape of my target. Meanwhile, the nice simple Katy circle is always effective no matter what you're shooting at, and covers a fair breadth too. Sure the Stuka may be able to do more damage to precise locations, but the Katy just feels overall more consistent to me.

Who cares about suppression when any infantry standing in the Kat barrage is going to take a nice long ride on the rekt train. Even with it's terrible armor and health the Kat feels like it's in a good place.
