CoH2 is the most unbalanced game ever

There are many problems, and yes this game is horribly broken.

For one, Relic doesn't seem to understand or even know how to do asymmetrical balance. To them, asym balance means:

'All factions have the SAME units but each faction gets access to them at different times'

This is the MAIN issue. If you look at WC3:TFT or SC1+2 you will see how each faction has completely different units, and each faction has a completely different approach. This is common knowledge.

And Relic doesn't seem to understand this eliminates A LOT of problems.

For instance, a clear example would be the MG in Coh2. Every faction gets an MG, but each one is slightly different and each one hits the field at different times.

This is inherently IMPOSSIBLE to balance.

GOOD JOB RELIC!

Who would have thought extensively planning a bunch of sweeping changes to balance a game and then only implementing a few of those changes would result in bad balance?

No one could have seen this coming.

Yeah because a game where the only one faction gets a Machine Gun is balanced. Only one faction is allowed the ability to deny area and suppress Infantry. Everyone else is disadvantaged.

I remember the innumerable posts about CoH2's soon death back in summer 2013. And still this game (somehow) lives. :guyokay:

The most recent patch went in the right direction all in all. If the rest of the Alpha changes (#NDA) will be applied in an reasonable amount of time this game could allure more players.

Other than that I cannot take OBK serious. :S

http://steamcharts.com/app/231430 -> coh2 going from 21k peak player to 8k in 2 years

(insert random game here)
http://steamcharts.com/app/227300 -> Euro truck simulator 2 going from 3k to 22k player in 2 years

People say that coh2 is soon death are not right, but people playing it are stagning / falling, its the main concern for a multiplayer game.

Every infantry have 80HP, only exception is sniper 82HP, could you be more precise about damage ? every unit ( or weapon profil if you prefer ) does different damage

Maybe you could provise us a replay, and we can explain you, what went wrong, what were the possible options

The game could be a lot better but if you didn't enjoy some aspect of it you wouldn't be playing it.

Do you realy think they care? They cashed in their money with COh2 sales. Maybe a few copies will still be sold this year, but that's about it. Time to abandon COH2 and develop another game. If these figures are real, than the game it's a big fail from popularity point of view which we, as clients, think that is the most important factor. For them, as developer and vendor, the stake is the money. 80-90% from what they could cash in with this game is allready cashed in and, from financial point of view, which matters to them, it's a success. People are often forgetting this issue.

People really think all 200 relic employees are still working on coh2

They have a small team that keeps developing dlcs/patches as long its profitable. And this is probably the case since release.

Popularity is very important.
Popularity means more sales over time, but most importantly: it means the popularity of the developers and the francise rises which mean more sales with future games.

Nonetheless this is the absolute best the RTS Sector has to offer. Stunning Visuals, breathtaking atmosphere, Tactical and Strategic Depth, massive amount of different options.

And you have a very good chance to win with every faction if you play with brains.

If you don't like it, go to starcraft2. If that's to hard and you want it more casual, go to LoL/DotA

Let's admit the game it's not the worst RTS. On the contrary, it's the best and the most tactical, and it has its advantages and revolutionary concepts that it brought on the market. The frustration related to balance, bugs and other things is realy felt just by passionate playerbase which is quite small! The majority of players are playing COH2 like they would play CS GO or other games, just for fun, not investing to much time in improving their skills, COh being a game that needs alot of time and patience to improve. So the francise will never die, it will produce money in the future too, no matter how many people will disappoint. Is the real fans Relic doesn't care to much. Look at the game as a whole: it looks nice and shiny - great graphics, great and attractive menus, units, commanders, yous say "wow" as soon as you install it. Don't you see Relic invests more work and time in coloring the game and adding unnecessary features as decals, thousands of skins, factions, etc, making it more attractive instead to invest in balance, bug fixing and optimization? It's like you fall in love when you see a beautifull woman well dressed and nice, and then when you kiss her you discover her breath smells.
