Again with the rifle nade. All HMGs now have delta formation (yes, the same as paratroopers) so 1 rifle grenade will only wipe usually the gunner and 1-2more guys.

But I think asking any question to someone crazy is useless. I would add to your question my own why they did white summer camo?

It was silly. I think a small damage buff or a slight packup/set-up buff would be nice for Maxim. They could also make it shine when they overhaul Veterancy (jazz hands)

Someone else suggested the Maxim crew be a little better at dealing damage which could be interesting.

Yeah, a dedicated role would be made if the DPS of the maxim was slightly increased (though not to the old retarded levels please)

The only thing that annoys me about the maxim is its retarded retreat. Its 6 man, but gets killed on retreat more often than any other HMG...

Maxim should get same buff but it should be slower on setting up then...

To be fair, kubel is more fragile and it costs fuel, bust still, maxim is clearly a underdog here.

Increased set-up time and slightly increased suppression, anything else will end up with stupid maxim spam meta again (some people STILL go for this strategy in 2v2 and it is annoying to deal with early game).

That's pretty much my opinion. Real problem with Maxim spam was they could easily reposition onto flankers and suppress them too - the horizontal traverse nerf fixed that, they cannot shoot at a microed flanker any more.

OK so its agreed increase set up time but increase anti blob with suppression increase. due ti increase in pack up time expand the fire arc a little to make moving less of a hassle.

Keep damage the same as well as accuracy



Also everyone complaining about maxim spam should think about what spamming would do if the maxim had a longer set up time but larger fire arc. It would be easier to flank as well as a better unit v mass blobs
