Its a texture that essentially means: whoops! somethings wrong with this texture.
Its actually a cube, so half of it is below the surface on this screen. Its nothing really.

hmm why ur box is blue, and i always got purple box when this happens. 1 time my enemy IS-2 is a purple box.. i can't tell where is the rear of the tank when i try to flank it.

that's the center of the map. the map is built low enough to "0" elevation that a crater can cause it to show through the bottom.
