Wrong - is-2 costs same as tiger. And outperforms it by a mile.
And is-2 plus zis wins vs tiger and pak.

Calculation was made for that claim you know.
Times is about the same, so its all about if RNG loves you.

The tiger can't beat any enemy lategame armor. Its incapable of fighting on its own, needs constant pak support wholegame to have ANY impact.

Except it beats every single tank except IS-2 1v1.

If you are talking about more then 1 and stronger then normal T34/sherman, then I don't know what do you expect, higher total price wins, nothing wrong with that.

Reason CAS is now most common, because u can fight blob and cheeze from allied side with same.

Reason CAS is most common is because there is so much cheese in it, that Italians have started to open pizzerias after selecting it.

And lowbie axis players love cheese.

Do you still expect to call in your tiger and steamroll the allied side, laughing at their cute little panzers trying to penetrate your krupp steel beast? Glad these days are over.

For the first year of the game's life, the Tiger was literally an I-win button. It was common to get 1 tiger, and then attempt to get a second to seal the deal..

This is end of the war, not normandy

You cry about tiger getting #rekt every tiem against things that were developed to counter it in late 1944

Yet you still refuse to talk about conscripts as the core of soviet army in the same 1944

Spot on! Like the guy said above, Tiger should be used with combined arms and you will see the difference.

Out of all the things that is wrong with the axis vs allies balance, the tiger tank is not one of them.

Tiger is very good unit. It's not a-move over everything. It's your first line unit which should be followed by Grens and 2 Paks40.

Jackson? Useless agasint infantry, so use your infantry.
Sherman? Keep 1-2 Pak40 behind.
There is no need for Tiger if it's so bad as you say.
P47? Just rotate Tiger straight into plane - rockets will smash next to Tiger.

Combine with blitz and doctrine with smoke.

Many consider the Normandy campaign to be the end of the war. A third German frontline, what else would you call that? :p

If things are developed to counter a thing they can still fail at doing so. For example: The 50mm gun was mounted on the Panzer III to make it better versus the T-34. Yet it still struggled with the T-34 from the front. Something similar applies to the 85mm on the T-34 to counter Panthers and Tigers. It just somewhat helped, yet didn´t change the onesided engagements.

In game I also feel that the Tiger is somewhat unreliable as a damage sponge. It deals good damage to infantry but has to immediately be pulled off the frontlines since the survivability buffs on vet were deleted and the health was reduced.

Conscript is just a name. What do you think the Grenadiers mostly are? Conscripted Grenadiers. It´s just for some diversity in the units names. My granduncle was Panzergrenadier and conscripted.

The Tiger, in a strictly unit vs unit comparison, indeed has tangibly less utility than either the IS-2 or a pair of 85s and in fact is countered by either of them to a degree. In fact, if you need to deal with Shock rifle specifically, the Elefant is your only really reliable option.
However, that does not mean the Tiger is useless at all, as it performs well against infantry, can absorb punishment and brings staying power to lategame OH.

By the way, the vast majority of both German and Soviet infantrymen were...conscripted. The Soviets continued to raise poorly trained rifle formations throughout 1944 from the newly reclaimed territories, and in fact started to experience somewhat of a manpower crisis as the war drew to a close, as they continued to be brutally attrited even in the last 2 years of the war.

Just avoid using it vs. anything with mark target and callins. But i'Il tend to throw them away anyway.
Fun fact if i have my 5th Tiger there is almost zero resistance left. :D
AND sometimes i'm really shocked why a sherman can penetrate its front lol..

All in all it still is a very good anti-everything tank, but tread lightly. ;)

In game i have never seen ONCE is-2 lose to tiger with or without pak-zis support on both side.

Doesn't matter t-34/85s or is-2 is soviet lategame armor -loses to both.
Jacksons -usf lategame.again loses.

Indeed blob and cheese of cAS is only way to deal with allied blob and cheese atm.I don't blame them.
