IMO you don't get achievements for a higher ranking.
I am almost on max level and IIRC I never got a single achievement for this (I don't mind because I am not into them at all).
If there was a system like in League of Legends for example, you could buy commanders/bulletins/whatsoever from this stuff.
But that thing now is no thing anyone could be really excited for, honestly.
