[Gamemode] Ceasefire (5/10 minute ceasefire)

Ceasefire mod - a mod that allows players to prepare for the battle by giving time for preparing defences. Map is automatically divided equally between the teams and during the ceasefire time period players are not able to enter enemy territory. Neutral territory can be accessed by both teams. All units are also unable to fire their weapon(s) during the ceasefire time period.










Main features:
  • Automatic script for dividing map territories equally between the teams. Should work with any map with a standard territory layout.
  • Ceasefire is available for 5 or 10 minutes, supporting both Annihilation and Victory Point Winconditions. Also includes 200 population cap versions.


During the ceasefire time period:
  • Entering enemy territory is disabled
  • All weapons are disabled
  • Neutral territory can be accessed by both teams
  • Only commander unit call-in abilities can be used. All other abilities are blocked.

Reminds me of what my friends and I used to do for old school RTS games. We called it "Cold War", with maybe 30 minutes of build up before an all out war. Lots of fun.

Wow, this is literally what my brother and I would do in COH1. We would each build defenses, tanks traps, mines and whatnot for close to an hour, and then trudge through it all for the next 4 hours haha.

Cool mod. Also reminds me of old RTS wars with my friend. Red Alert for example. Although we didn't have any force to prevent us to enter others territory besides our verbal contract. :)

Just like we played the Heeresgruppe Nord MOd in CoH1 :)

aerafield: I havent seen the new units in action yet (whose BGs will not be purchased by too many people as they are pretty expensive I recon), but I can say with 100% confidence that the Pershing needs a buff
