Did anyone manage to make a mod that allows more than two teams in the game? I think it would be great to have that option in custom matches, which would open up for some nice FFA maps too.

That's not true. You can have specular, gloss, and alpha files as well. You just need to change the burn settings to allow for them.

I stand corrected, just took a closer look at Grump's Hellbound skin in-game and it looks like the rest of the layers are applied to the tanks too, not just diffuse. |

A few points about the extra folders in the game: The only part of the texture that gets built into the game is the DIFFUSE (pure texture, no gloss, no bump, just the colors), since when you save you are only given the option to save TGA over.
So in my opinion it's better to just delete those extra folders when you start working in the PSD. It will reduce the file size drastically, make saving faster, and make it easier in general to work with other software that needs to update the skin ( ex: checking the texture in 3DS max ).
I also think you should keep the snow folder. Even if you make a summer skin, you might still want to make a winter variant for it, and it's just a matter of hiding/showing the layer.

Update on this one, so I removed every single subscribed item from COH2 workshop, and deleted the folders ( Documents/my games/ company of heroes 2/mods ).
Then I went back and built the decal, and pressed publish. Again, it did not show progress, but after a while the decal was uploaded nonetheless.
Still don't know how it worked, but it worked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |
The more I see progress of this skin the more I think it should be integrated into the full game. This just looks so much better than the default textures. |

I got a weird problem these past few days. Was trying to publish a curated decal, but every time I go press the button and choose the path, nothing really happens. It just stays unpublished, no error, no message.
Anyone experience something similar? |
I swear it happens more often when you are *not* looking at the vehicle. It's as if while off-screen the tank uses a simplified physics model, but the moment the camera hovers over it a more complex model kicks in and it affects the vehicle behavior somehow.

Now they removed the crushing ability of tanks,
and there is no one left to speak for the soviet player.
Seriously, I understand it's all for the good of competitive play, but there are many fun elements in the game that are being removed all the time ( like my dear B4 taking out two tigers at once... ) |
