Quicker fire rate by like half a second. Thats it. I'd much rather that they could be produced for cheaper but the panzer4 would get buffs and soviet t3 got more expensive so Tanks wouldn't arrive earlier.

Hmm, perhaps at vet 3 they get the 85mm gun, this would increase usefulness while not making t34/85 doctrines useless, you will need to get it up, whereas callin will be instant and scale better with its own vet.

Well, not as much as T34/85. I only want it to scale better, because when it arrives, it does it's job which is to counter infantry, HMG, flank ATGs and with good micro counter medium armor, but later they become obsolete.

IIrc, T34/76 has 120 penetration and t34/85 has 160. I think 130-140 penetration on vet3 for T34 would make them more useful late game. This game, people are actually encouraged to go T3, spam T34s and with good unit preservation counter heavier axis units.

personally i want the su-76 buffed to a "zis on treads" state and the 34/76 then changed to a high (relative to IV) armour, low pen AI platform.

It needs more accuracy againts infantry, it misses way too much compared to the PIV and sherman which cost very similar.

The days of the T34 sniping squads is long gone, and we should all be happy it's long gone. It's accuracy is fine, it's scatter is fine, it's AoE is fine.

The only issue is that it lacks DPS thanks to a long reload, a .5 or maybe 1 decrease would be good.

As I pointed out earlier; the T34's accuracy and scatter are very very close to that of the PIV's, while the Sherman has the best because of it's worse AoE.

In T3, the T-34-76 is the only AT vehicle you've got. And it's totally balls at that.

If we want the call-in prevalence to die, the T-34-76's performance is a pretty obvious factor contributing to it. I dunno what'd be the perfect way to fix it, but the huge design problem with it is nonetheless clear to me.

Yeah I say restore it's old reload time. It's a buff but not an enormous one, still being outclassed by Sherman and PzIV. But it's something.

It should be a numerous tank not a quality tank.

Believe it or not: German tanks in this game are a shadow of what they were on a vehicle basis. You have Tigers that can barely fight T-34/85s and Panthers outright losing head on assaults. KTs being finished off frontally is only the icing on the cake. Yet you scream for even better performance for Soviets. Better delete Germans out of the game then.

And yet, a player will be able to get one extra T-34-76 for every four Panzer IVs. Oooooooh.

Because the game doesn't also give the Soviets the benefit of eight to nine T-34-85s being available for every ten bought while the Germans get three to four Panthers for every ten Panthers bought, so it balances them out another way.

Uniform changes to help all of the versatile mediums against heavies might very well be the real way to go. They pretty much all have the issue of "Heavy is on field, now useless aside from getting lucky one-shotting squads some more...and the heavies might do that better anyway".

Since the T34/76 only had a two man turret and had no capacity to have a top mounted MG like its rival why not give it a flamethrower upgrade that replaces its hull MG? (yes this is historically accurate)

Health and armor wise it's fine imo, but it needs an accuracy buff vs infantry indeed. Currently the only reliable way of killing infantry with it is crushing.

Why do people keep saying this when it's been proven wrong 3 times in the thread.

T34/76 needs either a cost reduction so it is easier to outnumber the enemy, or better hull mgs to make them more decent AI tanks.

Though I still support making T34/85s nondoctrinal with the regular HP pool and armor of the current t34/76.

reload time reduction with cool downs, vet obtained slighlty easier , or slightly cheaper...

IMO it's pointless to adjust the T34/76 unless the call-in meta is addressed.

Unless ridiculous buffs are applied to the T34/76 (or any to stock medium tank for that matter) call-ins will always be more effective.

T34/76 needs an armour upgrade (like 50-60 munition).

Then what will be the fate of the T34/76? What if they gave an upgrade for 76 that up-guns it like shermans from coh1. It could cost, say, 100 munitions and 20 fuel for 85mm (just a draft price), and that way T34s would be viable and allow soviets some wiggle room for call-ins. HOWEVER this could be OP, imagine T34/85s with ISU/IS2 *shivers*.

Except it does? The T34 and PIV's anti infantry are almost exactly the same except for the MG's, which should both be the same, why they aren't already is a mystery only Relic knows the answer.

The T34 doesn't have accuracy issues on it's main gun, it has issues with the fact they accidentally gave it a huge reload.
