It’s time to introduce a new and ongoing feature here on our blog – Community Member Spotlights! There are so many amazing people contributing to the Company of Heroes community, and it’s time for us to start shining more light on all of these exceptionally bright people. Many you’ll already know, but we will hopefully be able to give you some extra insight into just who these people are and what makes them tick. We’re going to kick things off by taking a look at some members of our hyper-dedicated modding community. Without further ado, let’s start off with eliw00d!

A key contributing figure in our official forums, eliw00d is the man you’re most likely to see answering questions about how to mod COH2, creating tutorial videos, or generally exhibiting his modding prowess. We recently asked him ten questions about himself and his history with Company of Heroes.

Nice initiative from Relic. That said, and with all the respect for Eli, imo Janne deserves more than anyone else in the community to be there, he alone modded COH2 to make features none of us would think possible (Spectator Mode, Capture the flag, Age of Heroes to name a few)

Please, give eli the possibility to finish his mod, so finally I can have my Hetzer and Jagdpanther.

Hetzer by eliw00d based on ingame vehicles unfinished yet.

Hetzer by eliw00d in comparison to a StuG III.

Last but not least: Jagdpanther by eliw00d with custom created skin, note the Hetzer in the upper left corner.

Rosbone: But I agree, the cost to get a full decent Coh game pushing $115 US is not the best idea. Especially when it needs so much more work for casuals.
